31- THE CLIMATE IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (29 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Paradise has a constantly temperate climate, it is neither hot nor cold, but always warm. There is no day and night, but very faint images reminiscent of day and night will form for us to enjoy.

32- ARE THERE DIFFERENT PARADISES?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (26 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People speak of different paradises, the paradise of Adnan, the paradise of Firdaws. But these may be different parts of Paradise, because everyone will be in the same Paradise, in the same environment, but people will have different degrees of pleasure. People will like a flower, or a woman, or food, according to their own inner powers, to their own power of faith, to the power Allah creates within them. Their delight will differ, but people will not know that, they will not know they take pleasure differently. They will imagine they get the same level of pleasure.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, there is the Jannat al-Naim, the Paradise of Naim. There is the paradise of Firdaws and the Paradise of Adnan. But these paradises are all together and in the same place. They are like heavenly strata. Like strata placed one on top of the other. It is a delightful world consisting of lovely homes, glorious greenery, magnificently attractive people, splendid vehicles and foods, excellent clothing and delightful perfumes and glorious objects. But we will see all these in the same way we do in this world, of course, as images, but we will imagine they really exist. We will imagine they exist as we do in this world. I mean, their real counterparts will still exist on the outside, but we will only have direct experience with their images. There are many chambers and pavilions in paradise, one lovelier than the other. For example, a mansion will have many rooms in it, and there will be many blessings in each room, a whole string of blessings. Imagine a city, where you turn onto a road and enter a house and then the rooms in that house, you open a shelf and see something in it; such a chain of blessings. Well each of the chambers in the mansions of paradise is like a whole separate world. When you enter a room, the objects in it are a whole separate world of their own. We are told that women have clothes to wear, they wear seven different layers of clothing, though all seven are visible to the onlooker. For example, one can see the first layer, and if one wishes one can see the second and the third. That is one can see all her seven different layers of clothing. Men can also be seen with seven different sets of clothes.

33- OUR PROPHET’S (MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM AND GRANT HIM PEACE) INTERCESSION FOR THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE ON THE DAY OF RECKONING

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: When believers go to the Hereafter, they will take their place alongside all the prophets and teachers. For example, our Prophet (saas), that beauty, will be there like a great light before the Muslim community. Almighty Allah will ask whether or not such and such a person should enter Paradise. This is intended as a compliment to our Prophet (saas) and for that person to taste the love of our Prophet (saas). Otherwise, someone destined for Paradise will enter it, but a style as if they enter Paradise by way of our Prophet (saas) is employed there. That is known as intercession, insha’Allah. Our Prophet (saas) will say, ‘O Lord, that is a good person. I intercede for him. He is a believer and very devout.’ In that way he enters the paradise with him insha’Allah. That is intended as a beauty, insha’Allah.

34- WILL CHRISTIANS OR JEWS BE ABLE TO ENTER PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Let’s take the example of a Jew who believes in the Oneness of Allah. There’s salat and prostration in the Torah. He has a strong fear of Allah and is punctilious about what is lawful and unlawful and he has not become acquainted with Islam. These people are known as the Ahl al-Fatrat [People of interregnum]. If such people are very sincere, very honest in the sight of Allah, one may hope that they may enter Paradise. We cannot say they cannot go to Paradise, because according to the words of the Qur’an, “Allah’s honest servants will be saved.” Allah has provided only one measure, and no more; sincerity. If Allah regards someone as very sincere they may of course hope to enter Paradise, even if they are unacquainted with Islam and the Qur’an. It is impossible for anyone acquainted with the Qur’an to hold any other view because the Qur’an is so clear. An honest person will immediately admit the fact when he looks at the Qur’an.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON ÇAY TV (31 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a verse of the Qur’an which says, “The religion with Allah is Islam.” One religion. Islam is the one religion. But Christianity believes in the trinity. Allah strongly condemns the trinity belief in the Qur’an. They say that Allah is three (Allah is beyond this), and that is out of the question. That is incompatible with monotheism. We must say that Allah is One. It is most important to say that Allah is One. At the moment they are making a very grave error. That is what it means by the Prophet Jesus’ (pbuh) smashing the idols and slaying the pig when he returns. It means he will eliminate belief in the trinity and will eliminate heretical beliefs, and that he will pronounce on what is lawful and unlawful on the basis of the Qur’an. But the Qur’an says, I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan; “Only My servants who are righteous in the sight of Allah will be saved.” Sincere servants. One has to have sincerity. True sincerity. Being a Muslim is not enough. A Muslim also has to have sincerity. But even if the People of the Book hold out against the true nature of the Qur’an, the ruling in the Qur’an is clear. Allah knows the truth, but if they reject the Qur’an out of pride and lack of consideration, they cannot be Muslims.

But for instance, a person does not know about the Qur’an, is ignorant, a Christian. He believes in the Oneness of Allah and performs his salat (prayer) to the best of his knowledge of the New Testament. The New Testament speaks of salat. He fasts, is careful over what is lawful and unlawful and believes in the oneness of Allah. One may hope for such people. If someone has never been told about the religion, then he is one of the People of Interregnum. One may hope that such a person will be able to enter Paradise if he is very, very sincere. One may have hope for a person who has no knowledge, who has never been told or taught about the religion. But if someone knowingly and deliberately insists on rejecting the Qur’an even though he knows it is true, then the pronouncement of the Qur’an on that is clear, too.

35- HUMAN CREATION HAS BEEN CREATED IN COMPLIANCE WITH PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV (3 February 2009)

People like very bright things, do they not? That is why women’s clothes are very eye-catching. For example, a diamond on a ring immediately catches the eye. This stems from a predisposition to Paradise in the human soul. It is given us as an instinct. It is Allah Who causes us to love those gems. Because we are already instinctively prepared for Paradise, we are literally hypnotized when we see them. Paradise enters our minds, and we subconsciously delight in it, albeit all unawares. When we see a green place, for instance, we like it because of a predisposition to Paradise in us, and we think of ever more perfect versions. Our love of those precious stones also comes from our heavenly instinct. It is a pleasure that stems from knowing Paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: When people pick up an apple, it is never a perfect apple, of course. They know there will always be the best one. Whoever you ask will know that there can always be a more perfect apple or cherry or banana. Nobody totally likes his home or clothing, and they always have the idea of something even better. This is a predisposition to Paradise that is encoded in people. The human soul is encoded with a predisposition for Paradise. A person is never satisfied with anything, and never really and truly likes it unless he finds its version in Paradise. No woman in this world is truly beautiful. People will always feel something is missing with her. That is, they intensely feel something absent in her. Nobody in this world ever finds the woman he is looking for, in the physical sense. Though of course there are women who are very splendid in her spirit. There are people who are very beautiful in soul and character. But there is much more of what people like in Paradise. Allah creates these things only very seldom in this world. For example, there is the real gold in Paradise, gold that is used a great deal. For example, there is very little gold in the gilding on that wood there, but it catches the eye and we really like it.

ADNAN OKTAR: We really enjoy seeing some gold leaf being used, or a piece of gold thread embroidery. There is very, very much embroidery in Paradise. That is also created in our brains. It does exist on the outside, but it is created in our brains and gives us much pleasure.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV (3 February 2009)

One of the delightful aspects of Paradise is this; there are mansions in Paradise that someone on the outside can see inside, and someone on the inside can see the outside. One feature of Paradise is that there is crystal all over the place. Light is a beauty that is much used of in Paradise. Everything sparkles. Everything is finely embroidered and detailed. People are literally dazzled in Paradise. It is a beauty. That is what people always seek, if you notice. They always seek bright, sparkling water, transparence. That stems from a subconscious predisposition to Paradise that Allah bestows. One looks for a lake, albeit a small one. One looks for a river, though very small one. As long as there is water. People do not know, but that is an instinct, a predisposition to Paradise. For example, even a bright, sparkling small gem hypnotizes one. This is a quality of Paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (4 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course a Muslim will be very tranquil, someone who thinks very deeply, who is forgiving, affectionate, considerate of those around, who strives for their happiness, is clean and well groomed and who makes his surroundings pleasanter. At home, he beautifies his house. He strives to ensure his body is well maintained, that his hair and clothing are well groomed, to speak nicely, to have pleasant facial expressions, to have a pleasant voice, for his home to have a pleasant atmosphere, to have good food and music around, and for everything to be agreeable. Because the believer’s soul cries out, “Paradise! Paradise!” It desires it. And it constantly seeks it in this world. When the believer desires that, Allah makes everywhere a paradise for him. Constant perfection is a Muslim’s ideal.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (19 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People from Paradise come here, people worthy of Paradise. And those deserving of Hell come from Hell. Because this world is but a single moment. I am saying that. For example, our Prophet (saas) was already in paradise. That is, he did not go to paradise only later. And our Prophet (saas) is in Paradise now. Our Prophet (saas) was in paradise before coming here, before he was born. Therefore, he came to this world from paradise.

36- PEOPLE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE TEST IN THIS WORLD IN ORDER TO BE HAPPY IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH KANAL 35 (1 February 2009)

People cannot be happy if they go directly to Paradise. They must absolutely go through the test in this world. If they go to Paradise directly, they will be in the same position as Adam and Eve. They were not happy in Paradise. They were not happy in that sense. They looked for novelty. They did not, and were unable to, keep their word to Allah. But after undergoing this training, after experiencing suffering, hardship, difficulties, loyalty, fortitude, courage and all kinds of moral virtue, in other words, they then exhibit perfect moral values in Paradise until eternity, and the inhabitants of Paradise are constantly shown images of Hell. They are shown it on a screen. That ensures they constantly give thanks. Adam was never shown Hell. He did not see the screen with Hell on it when he was in Paradise. If he had, of course, Allah appreciates it, but who knows how he would have behaved? But that was his destiny. That is why people absolutely have to go through this training and be aware of Hell for the perfection of Paradise and in order to be happy there. Satan is insistently maintaining this claim, this obstinacy by drawing people into madness and irreligion. For every irreligious person, he tells Allah, look what I have done, look what the descendants of Adam you wanted me to prostrate myself before are doing. Satan’s aim is a classic model of pride and immorality. And he is still doing it today.

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH TEMPO TV (24 March 2009)

People who entered Paradise directly would have behaved badly. Allah put Adam and Eve in Paradise, for example, and He put satan in Paradise, and you know what happened. That is what happens if you go there without training. Allah shows us that. He says in the Qur’an that Adam and Eve were disobedient. That He did not regard them as having a stable character. They were not loyal to their word. But satan behaves totally psychopathically. But after training, people are proper believers. In the Qur’an, Allah says, I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan: “Return to your Lord, well-pleasing and well-pleased! Enter among My servants! Enter My Garden.” Because Allah says, “‘O self at rest and at peace.” That is how it starts, that means stabilized. We are balanced out here, and we learn moral virtues, love, affection, fortitude and courage. These will all be the subjects of conversations when we go to Paradise. He says that they sit on thrones and hold conversations. What do people talk about in Paradise? Things that are done in this world. Details and images from there will be shown to them. We will discuss the love there, how they strove and struggled, how they exhibited proper moral virtues, and what the Prophets Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) did. That is why we will love these excellent people very much, these holy ones.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (21 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan “O self at rest and at peace.” Almighty Allah says, ‘Return to your Lord, well-pleasing and well-pleased! (having attained balance and moderation) Enter among My servants! Enter My Garden!.’ What does this mean? It means we will enter the Hereafter with the training we have received. But satan will not intervene, meaning that is something extra. There will be nothing like satan’s giving us forgetfulness or doubts. We will go with the same conception of love, affection and care that we have here, now.

37- NOBODY CAN KNOW WHETHER ANYONE WILL GO TO PARADISE OR HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

Of course, nobody can know whether anyone will go to Paradise or Hell. You know how they say that such a person is destined for Paradise or Hell. The person who says that does not know his destiny, does not know whether he will go to Paradise or Hell. He may go to Paradise, or he may go to Hell. That is made clear at one’s last breath. It is ordained by Allah, and can never be established beforehand. Sometimes, someone we imagine to be very saintly may go to Hell, or someone may go to Paradise who one never imagined would ever make it. In other words, it can never be clear. It is therefore unlawful to issue pronouncements about people on Allah’s behalf. No Muslim can say such things.

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (21 February 2009)

In the absence of any clear revelation, in the absence of any prophets with books of revelation saying that someone will go to Paradise, nobody can be certain of the future. But even though our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was told he would be going to Paradise, he was still punctilious about his religious observances and obeying Allah’s commands. Muslims will be like that. They will fear Allah, saying they have a fifty-fifty chance of going to Paradise or to Hell. This is also the root of love and passion. We learn this passion through love of Allah. Fear of Allah is the origin of profound love.

38- BELIEVERS WILL CONSTANTLY REMEMBER ALLAH IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (7 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: We will constantly praise Allah in the Hereafter, thanks be to Allah. Alhamdulillah, Allah is beyond any flaws. We will each time be in awe. O Lord, we love you very much, we will say. We will say “we are in love with You.” Constant expressions of joy, Alhamdulillah. How great is Allah, we will say. We will constantly praise Him. Praise of Allah will predominate in Paradise. But there will be no salat (regular prayer), no fasting. There will be no giving alms, because everywhere will already be so wealthy. But fear of Allah will persist. Because people will constantly see Hell. But there will be no question of believers going to Hell, as believers fear Allah... They will fear Allah under whatever circumstances. They will fear Allah for all eternity. But they will have a huge appreciation of Paradise, insha’Allah.

39- WAS OUR PROPHET (MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM AND GRANT HIM PEACE) SHOWN PARADISE IN THIS WORLD?

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (10 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, our Prophet (saas) saw the realm of Hereafter, but Allah did not show him Paradise. Allah showed him Hell. He saw Hell and gave thanks to Allah, and made his comparisons. Because having seen Paradise, the influence of this world may be quite burdensome. That is, having a physical liking for other people or this world may be very difficult, because one will have compared them with Paradise. That is why our Prophet (saas) was not shown Paradise while he was in this world.

40- MARRIAGE IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH KANAL 35 (1 February 2009)

PRESENTER: In Paradise, will women be married to their husbands in this world?

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. Allah says they will be under the trees with their husbands and children. Of course they will be with their husbands.

PRESENTER: What if she has been married two or three times?

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah will give her the person with the greatest fear of Allah, he whom Allah approves of most. That is Allah’s criterion. We must look for the greatest measure of His approval in all things. I mean I could come here, or sit at home, or else go out to the shops and talk to people. I think Allah will most approve of my coming here, and I think I am doing the right thing. In other words, something has its most truthful and very best form, that is what Allah wants. The very best of something is what most meets with Allah’s approval. That will also be the criterion for spouses in the Hereafter. Allah will give them to the person who most seeks His approval.

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH TEMPO TV (31 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: If a person’s spouse is pure and immaculate, and if that person has moral virtue and is a believer, then of course they will be together in Paradise. Almighty Allah makes that clear in verses. He says they are together with their spouses and children. Of course they will be together in the Hereafter. People will have children in the Hereafter. A person will be able to give birth whenever she wants a baby, after a very brief pregnancy. But it will involve no pain and will happen right away. It will happen the moment they desire it.

ADNAN OKTAR: That is a feature of Paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Let me say that what counts is one’s position regarding faith in Allah, one’s degree of belief in Allah. It does not matter to Allah whose spouse it is. For example, Abu Lahab’s wife shared the same mindset and mentality, for which reason she was put in the same place.

ADNAN OKTAR: But Pharaoh’s wife was a believer and a chaste woman, and one worthy of Paradise. She left him, and did not espouse his views. She did not espouse his logic, his immoral philosophy. She followed along with the Prophet Moses (pbuh), and Allah has sent her to Paradise. The Prophet Noah’s wife, for instance, was a most abnormal woman, and Allah has put her in Hell. Allah separated her from Noah (pbuh). Lot’s wife was the same, and an unbeliever. Allah separated them. We can see from these few examples that it is fear of Allah to which Allah attaches importance.

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, an immoral person has a wife, a chaste believer. That woman leaves her husband, and Allah does not regard their union as valid. He separates them in the Hereafter. She counts as single in the Hereafter, and Allah will marry her to a male believer who has fear of Allah, whoever He regards as most desirous of His approval. Therefore, Allah’s approval is the main criterion in such matters.

41- THE MUTUAL LOVE OF THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (14 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: In fact, Allah shows what we are. Allah appears to test what we are, but that is not actually the case. Looked at it in terms of ilm al-ladun, the knowledge of Divine Providence, that is not the case. Because Allah knew what we would do, He has sent us to Paradise or to Hell. So there is actually no question of us being tested, of Allah investigating and learning about us. Allah already knows about us. He shows us to ourselves, shows us what we are. And we will experience the joy of that in Paradise. We will say we rendered such and such a service, did this and that, but in fact, it is Allah Who engages in these deeds. For example, you are now exhibiting virtuous behavior, and insha’Allah you will go to Paradise. If I see you have gone to Paradise, then, Allah willing, I will love you even more there. Because I will see the sacrifices you have made, I will see your virtues and lovable nature, I will know them in this world. Since I will go there with that knowledge, it will remain with me for ever, and I will therefore love you for ever with that knowledge. For example, one has a spouse. One sees their moral virtue. And that stays with one for ever. That is why a man loves his wife more than he does houris. It is because of that knowledge. Because he has seen her altruism, her courage, her fortitude, her kindness, her religious observances and all other kinds of behavior. Since he has absorbed that information, it will remain with him for all eternity, and he will also love that knowledge. But that is not the case with houris. He sees no virtue in houris in this world. Houris have to be virtuous in the Hereafter. That is why people love their wives far more in the Hereafter. Because they see much more manifestations of Allah in her, they are in a more acceptable position.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (20 January 2009)

For example, our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) refers to himself and adds Hamza (pbuh), Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and Hazrat Ali (pbuh) and the companions, saying ‘we are the sayyid, that is the lords, of the people of Paradise. Why? Because they all suffered. We will love them for that in the Hereafter. Why do we admire the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) so much in the Hereafter? Because he suffered hardship. Why do we admire the Prophet Moses (pbuh)? Because he suffered hardship. Because they displayed a powerful love of Allah, because they felt such an intense and fervent love.

PARADISE AND HELL ARE ALSO CREATED IN ILLUSORY FORM AKS (14 April 2009)

For example, when we look at the gardens of Paradise we will lose our senses from love. The same is with its furniture, food and drink. But, the truth of the matter is that, all of these things will be bestowed as images. But people will not know they are images. They will be bestowed in the greatest clarity. One will be unable even to wonder whether they might be mere images. Nobody will have the power to do that. But these things will be given as images. They will exist on the outside, but that is how people will perceive them. They will perceive them in their brains, heads and souls. But the originals, matter, will exist on the outside in Paradise. The original of matter does exist in the outside world.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

Our Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) says the mansions of Paradise resemble crystal. People move in and out of them. There are small streams all around, small streams of Paradise. Paradise consists of layers. Paradise consists of perfect houses, more beautiful than one can ever imagine. We are given a glimpse in this world. The houses of this world are still created in our brains and the dwellings of Paradise will also be created in our brains. The birds and animals of Paradise, everything, will be created in our brains. We can never have direct experience of the original of Paradise. There is an original, external Paradise, but we will always experience the images of it.

42- SIGHT IS VERY SHARP IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For instance, we now see the world, but although it is three-dimensional, the image we see is two-dimensional. That is a deficiency of this world. In Paradise the image will be very sharp and three-dimensional. It will be very clear. It is a very sound phenomenon. All senses, sounds and tastes, will be very sharp and distinct. There is some kind of blurriness in this world. You cannot hear a sound that is far away, but in Paradise you will hear even the most distant noise. You can see the furthest object in Paradise. Myopic eyes are very weak in this world, a weakness given to human beings. For example, you can detect the most far-off scent. You can reach the furthest thing instantaneously. You do not say it is too far away to get to. For example, you see a friend in the distance, and you are by his side the next moment. He might be 1 million kilometers away, but you are still with him instantaneously.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a speed that is even greater than that of light. The speed of imagination. With the speed of the imagination, a person reaches his destination immediately, while one still needs to follow a specific route when traveling at the speed of light. But not there, which is created so one can be there instantaneously. By Allah’s leave, these things will happen. It is useful for us to know the general logic behind all these things, though much more comprehensive information is available of course on the www.harunyahya.com and www.harunyahya.org web sites.

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH AKS TV (14 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah says that vision is sharper in the Hereafter, that people will see more clearly in three dimensions. We can only see clearly for 400-500 meters, after which things are blurred. But in the Hereafter even things 3 or 10 kilometers away will be very sharp and clear. Allah says that our vision on that day will be very sharp. It will have an extraordinary nature.

43- DIRECT CAUSES WILL BE DONE AWAY WITH IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’IN AKS TV ROPORTAJI(14 APRIL 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People have no internal organs. But their eyes see, their ears hear, and these things reach the brain. People will see directly without the need for anything. All natural causes will be done away with. For example, a car will run by itself without having an engine or any petrol in it. It will just go by itself. There will be illumination. Things will be illuminated without the Sun. The objects in Paradise light themselves. The Sun is needed in this world, a direct cause, but since there are no such direct causes in the Hereafter, things will illuminate themselves in the absence of direct causes. Allah says that fruit and vegetables never decrease in quantity. The moment a piece of fruit is picked, another piece appears. You can eat as much as you like and it will be replaced. Paradise is the abode of happiness.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah says of Paradise that ‘no earthly desire has tasted and no eye seen it.’ It is utterly amazing and most beautiful. One of the best features of Paradise is that nowhere grows old or fades, and everything is positive. As you know, everything is created with its opposite in this world.

ADNAN OKTAR: Like good and bad or day and night, in Paradise there will be only positive aspects. That is the artistry of Allah. The gate of Paradise is uniquely beautiful. You look at the doors of the houses and they are all separately decorated. The chairs have a beauty of their own. So we look at those beauties and give constant thanks to Allah. The human soul burns with love of Allah in Paradise. You look at a pitcher in Paradise and you give thanks to Allah. You can even talk to it. You can tell it to turn a bit to the right and it will do so. And if you tell it bring you a cool drink, it will bring you one. Pour it out, you say, and it will pour it into a glass. Go back to your place you say, and back it goes. Paradise is very pleasant and entertaining like that. Allah has created it specially to be like that. But in this world we are bound by direct causes. I cannot bring something to me without stretching my hand out for it. I am bound by direct causes.

ADNAN OKTAR: Yet it is not my hand that brings it here. Allah creates that in my head. He creates my hand as the direct cause.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KAÇKAR TV (12 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR:... There are always direct causes here. For instance, were it not for the camera here they could not see me, but there is no need for cameras in heaven. It is created without direct causes. For example, in Paradise your brother can look and see you, in other words there is no need for a camera system.

ADNAN OKTAR: For instance, it is enough for him to wish to see someone to see them. The image forms. But here, you have to turn on the television, press the buttons, and there have to be cameras and lighting. Several direct causes have to be created, and that eliminates our free will.

ADNAN OKTAR: In other words, since we are tested, if we obtained images of everywhere without cameras everyone would believe, and the test would be lifted. Satellite antenna and cameras are used as instruments so the test should continue, and people are not visible to us in their homes without satellite antennae and cameras. Images are created as a miracle in every home. Allah creates them as a miracle in every home. He uses the camera and satellite systems as His instruments. He creates them so people will regard the phenomenon as quite normal, though the fact is that images are directly created in everyone’s brain.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, He says, “there are such mansions in Paradise that people on the inside can see the outside, and those on the outside can see the inside.” A mansion made entirely out of crystal, for instance. “One day, the Messenger said there are such mansions in Paradise that there were no hooks to hold them up and no pillars to prop them up. The people who heard this asked how the inhabitants would enter those mansions. The Messenger (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said they would fly in like birds.” But here, of course, we need an engine to fly from one place to another, or a propeller, we need a direct cause. We fly, but using vehicles to do so. Those vehicles do not apply in Paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is no need for any vehicle. Everything happens by people just thinking of it. Like in a dream, for instance; when we want to fly we use a plane, we get in a vehicle and go to the airport and board the plane, and we fly by means of the engine of the plane. The plane then lands, in Ankara say. We get our bags and alight. We experience this all very perfectly. We later realize we were asleep and it was all a dream. But the plane there needs no petrol or diesel or anything.

ADNAN OKTAR: That is what Paradise is like.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: This is also the case in this world. For example, I want to drink some tea. It appears that I stretch my hand out for it, though it is actually Allah Who brings the cup to my lips. My hand does not bring the tea to me, Allah just uses it as a direct cause. It is also Allah Who creates the tea in the cup. A person cannot do this. It is a law of Allah, but one that everyone who makes a deep use of his mind can comprehend. Otherwise, a person who becomes caught up with superficial direct causes imagines that everything is the result of such direct causes. He imagines that biscuits come from a factory, or meat from the butcher’s shop. But Allah creates the meat. It is crated at that moment. You imagine it comes from the store, but Allah uses the store as a direct cause. Tables are laid. Allah sets all tables. Tables are set as a miracle, but people are unaware of this because of the direct causes involved. Since these direct causes do not apply in Paradise, tables are set all of a sudden, fruit forms instantaneously. There are no direct causes involved in an object going from one place to another. For instance, the cars in Paradise need no engine and petrol, they just move spontaneously. Cars in this world do need engines and petrol, though. There need to be direct causes for them to move. If cars were to move without engines and petrol, people would no longer enjoy the use of their free wills and would have to have faith. But since there is no test in Paradise there are no direct causes, either. Everything moves of its own accord. People just have to think of it, to imagine it, for it to happen.

44- EVERYTHING IS CONSCIOUS IN PARADISE, EVEN OBJECTS

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KAÇKAR TV (8 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: All the objects in Paradise are intelligent, they all have understanding. In order for us to turn the television on here, for instance, we press the remote and it comes on. But it is again Allah Who turns the television on. A miracle takes place, though Allah appears to use the remote as a direct cause. But there are no such direct causes in Paradise. For example, if you tell that flower bowl to come to you, it does so. You pick a fruit from its tree, and as soon as you do so it reappears in the tree. You eat food for instance, as you keep eating that food it keeps reappearing in the dish. And that is perfectly logical, because Allah creates it as an image in our brains. Matter does exist on the outside, but we have direct experience of an image of it in our brains. And it is logical for the image not to come to an end. It would be a miracle if the image did come to an end, for the food we are eating to be finished. For example, there is no dust or dirt in Paradise. There is no blurring in anything we normally experience as an image. We watch a film and there is no blurring. Even if you watch the film a thousand times it will still be pristine and the image will never be spoiled. Allah says that in the Hereafter. He will cause Muslims to live in the very finest places. Allah is referring to mansions. To the tents of Paradise. These are the most lovely places one can imagine, perfect images created instinctively. When we eat fruit, we will say this is the fruit we have always been longing for. When we see a woman there, we will say that she is the kind of woman we have always longed for. When we see a house we will say that is the kind of house we have always longed for. Allah says there are small rivers, streams of gold running in gentle curves, as well as bigger rivers. People have a natural love of water, and Allah creates this as an instinct. For example, the sea lifts our spirits when we see it. Houses built on places with views of the sea or along the sides of lakes are always more expensive, aren’t they? Allah bestows this as a heavenly instinct. We have an instinct that draws us to water, a love of water. We have a love of beautiful places, but this is never satisfied in this world, though it still exists as an instinct inside us. For instance, there are no perfect women in this world, and no perfect homes or perfect fruit, but we still feel these instinctively. When we eat an apple, we say that there must be better fruit than this somewhere, but we cannot find. Yet in Paradise there is the best of everything.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (13 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, you pick an apple, but that apple is still on the branch. You eat, but you are not satisfied, and there is always food in the bowl. You tell the bowl to come to you, and up it gets. It is intelligent. Everything is intelligent. In fact, the mind of Allah is everywhere, but He does not put it into action for us here. That is what happened with the Prophet Moses’ (pbuh) staff. The mind and power of Allah are everywhere. The might of Allah was also in the Prophet Moses’ (pbuh) staff. Moses (pbuh) cast the staff down and Allah turned it into a snake that very moment. This is something quite extraordinary. He then told the Prophet Moses (pbuh) to pick it up, and when he did so it straightaway turned back into a staff. Wood turns into a snake, and then the snake turns back into wood. That is also how it is in Paradise. Everything is conscious. For instance, whenever one wants to fly somewhere one can do so. One can fly through the air with no wings and using no vehicle. One can travel where one wants to be instantaneously, one just has to think of it. One can travel somewhere hundreds of thousands of kilometers away in a very short space of time, in less than a second, momentarily. Since there is no space, Allah will create the place for us instantaneously. In other words, it will form in people’s brains. There will be matter on the outside, but it will form in people’s brains.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Objects move, whatever object you ask a question it will give you a proper answer. You ask how it is, and it will say it is very well. Cats and dogs and rabbits. You ask what they are up to, and they will say they are walking around, thanks be to Allah. You call them to and they will come and sit on your shoulder. You can talk with them, and then send them off. But that consciousness exists only in Paradise.

45- WILL THE DJINN AND ANGELS BE VISIBLE TO PEOPLE IN PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON ÇAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There is no need for them not to be seen. Of course they will be visible. They will appear in the guise of normal, attractive human beings. Because they are also our believer brethren. They listen to our talk and benefit from us and they also read the Qur’an. But they will be visible there. Demons are not visible here, but they will be visible in Hell, they will all be visible.

46- MUSLIMS’ SOLE AIM IS TO EARN THE APPROVAL OF ALLAH, AND ALLAH WILL GRANT US PARADISE IF HE SO CHOOSES

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KAÇKAR TV (29 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ... True believers go to Paradise, and I tell people the secret of that. But one does not worship Allah simply in order to get to Paradise and be happy. One performs one’s religious observations to earn His approval. One’s sole aim is the approval of Allah. A believer’s sole aim is the approval of Allah. But if He grants us Paradise, that is a blessing from Him. We are content with whatever Allah may give us. We are content with all outcomes and we submit to Allah. A believer will still be content with Allah if He sends him to Hell. Or to Paradise. Allah forbid, but even if a believer goes to Hell he will still burn with the love of Allah there. But believers will not go to Hell. I am saying that for reasons of clarity, otherwise nobody who burns with love of Allah will go to Hell.

MR. ADNAN OKTAR'S EXCERPTS FROM HIS INTERVIEWS ABOUT HYPORCRITES

1- WHO ARE THE HYPOCRITES?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hypocrite is the name given to people who come among Muslims, despite not being Muslims themselves, collect information about Muslims, learn what they do and what their names are, and hand it on to the unbelievers, to Freemasons for instance, to atheist Zionists, in order to oppress them, to people who have no other purpose than that, to collect information for those ends.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The hypocrite pretends to be a Muslim, and pretends to have takwa when he is with Muslims, but who actually denies Allah. He is irreligious and detests Muslims but remains with them in order to learn or gain information about them and tell the unbelievers all about Muslims and thus wrong them. These are the people we refer to as hypocrites.

2- THE PRINCIPAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HYPOCRITES

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (18 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The main feature of the hypocrite is that they carry information to the unbeliever. The unbelievers are braver and more honest in this respect; because they say they are one’s enemy and fight it out, man to man. But the hypocrite is treacherous. He will say he is a Muslim and infiltrate Muslims to obtain information and then hand it on to the unbelievers and other opponents of Muslims. And their treachery continues. They go and tell Muslims that they are Muslims, too, that they are one of them. Allah says in one verse that they are neither one of us nor one of them. Allah says they cannot get along with Muslims or with the unbelievers. He says their hearts are fragmented. And that they cannot stop doing this until they die. But Allah has promised them death, and says that this, their excess, will come to an end when they die and go to hell. Hypocrites are created as hypocrites; as satan’s most advanced, but most loathsome entities.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah says of them in a verse that, “they imagine they do good deeds.” They imagine they are very clever and on the right path. For example, the immoral people who built the masjid Dirar, that is mosque of the hypocrites, in the time of our Prophet (saas) also imagined they were acting properly and on the right path. They abandoned the Prophet (saas) saying they had left their homes unattended, but that they would have accompanied him had they been any good at fighting. They lied. But Allah says He knows they lie, and that they know it, too.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KON TV (KONYA) (14 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: “Those who break Allah’s contract after it has been agreed, and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined,..”. They fail to perform the namaz, for example, or to fast or spread the religion of Allah, fail in terms of moral values. “and cause corruption on the earth,..” This time they begin working against Muslims under the influence of satan. “it is they who are the lost.” says Allah. They will realize their loss in the hereafter, of course.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KRADENIZ TV (16 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The hypocrite is treacherous, he conceals himself. He worms his way in among Muslims and depicts himself as having close relations with them, but then he goes off and basely works against Muslims. He tries to back them into a corner. That was how the hypocrites were in the time of our Prophet (saas). Very treacherous. They approached Rasulullah (saas) and pretended to love him. But when they stepped outside they spoke against him. “What did he say?” they would say. There is a verse to that effect. Some even said that if they knew how to fight they would accompany him, but that they did not know. But they in fact knew perfectly well, it was just not in their interests. Some said, “The weather is very hot. What can one do in this heat?” But if you give them money or some benefit, then they will do it. The lack of morals of the hypocrite is described in detail in the Qur’an. For example, they obtained a separate mosque in the time of our Prophet (saas) and even prayed in it and fasted, pretending to be Muslims, but they were actually perfidious and immoral. Allah forbade people to pray in that mosque and told them not to go to it. The aim was to destroy love and respect for our Prophet (saas) and devotion to him, for which reason hypocrites are the vilest creatures in the whole world.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (17 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: “Say: ‘Shall I inform you of the greatest losers in their actions? People whose efforts in the life of the dunya are misguided while they suppose that they are doing good.’ This is one of the attributes of the hypocrites. The Quran draws attention to this.

“..the greatest losers in their actions?” Note that Allah says ‘the greatest losers’, not losers. Since the hypocrites are at the lowest layer of the hell. They are the ones who are afflicted with the greatest predicament. As you know there will be hypocrites among Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) community. There are the most vicious hypocrites of the End Times.

REPORTER: Yes

ADNAN OKTAR: “Say: ‘Shall I inform you of the greatest losers in their actions? People whose efforts in the life of this world are misguided while they suppose that they are doing good.” They present themselves as devout, they form a separate structure. “Those are the people who reject their Lord’s signs and the meeting with Him. Their actions will come to nothing and, on the Day of Resurrection, We will not assign them any weight. That is their repayment – Hell – because they were unbelievers and made a mockery of My signs and of My messengers.”

3- ADNAN OKTAR DESCRIBES THE ATTRIBUTES OF HYPOCRITES IN ACCORDANCE WITH HOLY VERSES

MAVİ KARADENİZ INTERVIEW (10 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: … In verse 145 of Surat an-Nisa, Almighty Allah says “The hypocrites are in the lowest level of the Fire. You will not find anyone to help them.” In verse 138 of Surat an-Nisa Almighty God says, “Give news to the hypocrites that they will have a painful punishment.” See how they are given news? He says this to humiliate the hypocrites. “Those who break Allah’s contract after it has been agreed,” He says. They say they will help, that they are Muslims, devoted to Allah and the Qur’an, and stand alongside believers, but Allah says they have broken the contract. They abandon things that Allah has commanded. They sever the bonds of brotherhood, for example, and abandon good deeds. “And they bring forth corruption.” They move around and report on Muslims and spread strife and corruption. “They are the losers.” They did many such things in the time of our Prophet (saas). In verse 27 of Surat al-Baqara Allah says, “Those who break Allah’s contract after it has been agreed.” “You will see that most of them establish friendships with those who stray into denial.” They feel hatred for Muslims. One characteristic of hypocrites is that they live among Muslims but have close ties to the irreligious people and atheists and tell tales to them about Muslims. They rejoiced to be far away from the Prophet (saas). They regarded it as unpleasant to strive on the path of Allah and said why bother in all this heat? In Surat at-Tawba, Allah says, “They said, ‘do not go out to fight in the heat.’ Say: ‘The Fire of Hell is much hotter, if they only understood.” “They will swear in the name of Allah that they are one of you.” They will claim to be believers when they speak with Muslims, and will swear that this is so, Allah says. “But they are not of you. They are a cowardly community.” They are full of fear and tension because their souls are filled with the filth of satan. In verses 56-57 of Surat at-Tawba, Almighty Allah says: “As for those who make Allah their friend, and His Messenger and those who believe: it is the party of Allah who are victorious! You who believe! Do not take as friends any of those given the Book before you or the unbelievers who make a mockery and a game out of your religion. Fear Allah if you are believers.”

Allah compares them to donkeys in terms of their stubbornness and stupidity. He says they have fled from a lion, that is arslan in Turkish]. As you know, one of the names of Hazrat Mahdi (as) is Arslan. In verse 29 of Surah Muhammad Allah says, “Or did those with sickness in their hearts imagine that Allah would not expose their malevolence?” Allah says that they contribute nothing but evil and damage and will always incite corruption. He says it is better for Muslims not to be with them. He describes them as filth and says that if they remain they will bring Muslims nothing but evil and damage. He says they will try to set Muslims against one another, and that there are spies and informers among them. In verse 47 of Surat at-Tawba He says, “If they had gone out among you, they would have added nothing to you but confusion. They would have scurried about amongst you seeking to cause conflict between you, and among you there are some who would have listened to them. Allah knows the wrongdoers.”

Allah says there are some people who claim to believe in Him and the Day of Reckoning, but who do not in fact believe at all. That is a characteristic of hypocrites. They imagine they are deceiving Allah and believers, whereas they are actually just deceiving themselves, though they are unaware of this. He says there is a sickness in their hearts. But there is a severe punishment awaiting them because of their lies. Allah says that hypocritical men and women are one another’s friends.
… They command evil and forbid goodness.” For example, they do not want Islam to spread, but they seek the spread of immorality, evil and oppression. “Their hands are very tight,” meaning that they are very parsimonious and that they spend their lives that way.

4- HYPOCRITES IN THE TIME OF HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: …The hypocrites of that time will be the worst ever. They will be the worst hypocrites to emerge from among Muslims. Because Hazrat Mahdi (as) means sovereignty and salvation. He is the best and greatest guide. The greatest guide there has ever been. The hypocrites in his time will be the worst of all time. They will be the most perfidious, treacherous and vile hypocrites. They will collaborate with unbelievers, but they will not be successful. By Allah’s leave, nobody can halt the power of Hazrat Mahdi (as).

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (7 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hazrat Mahdi (as) will tell our Lord that he witnessed and saw such a person alongside him. This one was a vile hypocrite, he will say. He was treacherous and immoral. I witnessed it, he will say. He will say that someone else was his friend, a humble and spotless person. Allah gives him the right to bear witness for people, and this is instrumental in His loving them in paradise. This happens so that the hypocrites can suffer accordingly, insha’Allah. They will be humiliated twice. Allah already knows that they are immoral and hypocrites and He creates and sends them in that form.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (29 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: “Such that no more of you will remain in the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) than kohl on the eyes or salt in food. And I shall give you an example. A man has a quantity of wheat. He cleans it and puts it in his home”

Look, he says there is wheat, and it is clean. He notes that believers will be clean like the wheat. “Then when he returns to it after a while he sees it is infested with weevils.” These are the hypocrites. He draws our attention to the hypocrites. He cleans them out again. (The hypocrites are cleaned out again, and they are loathsome while believers are clean.) He then puts the wheat back in his home. When he returns again a while later, he sees they have become infested with weevils again. (Hypocrites keep multiplying.) He again cleans the wheat and gets rid of the weevils. At the end, he is left with a very small amount of wheat the weevils have not harmed. That is the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as). At the end, a spotless community will remain, he says. Vile and cunning people will keep turning up like weevils and will seek to gnaw away at Muslims like wolves and to infiltrate themselves among them and to obtain things from them. But he says that they will be cleaned out on every occasion. For example, Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq relates from Abu Basir that ‘the guilty will be known by the faces.’ In verse 30 of Surah Muhammad, Allah says, “If We wished, We would show them to you and you would know them by their mark and know them by their ambivalent speech.” This verse is interpreted as referring to Hazrat Mahdi (as). In other words, Hazrat Mahdi (as) will realize but will issue no definitive pronouncements, but the hypocrites will be recognizable by their speech, language and behavior. But Hazrat Mahdi (as) will just watch them. Otherwise, if Hazrat Mahdi (as) were not to recognize the hypocrites, the lowest creatures in the world, they would shatter his community. Since Hazrat Mahdi (as) will identify them and take precautions, the hypocrites will be unable to harm him. Otherwise there is no limit to what they might do. He says that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be aware of each group’s secret plans; perhaps Allah will place djinn at his disposal. He says he will be aware of each group’s secret plans, and he can only be told of them by djinn, and by the will of Allah. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will recognize friend and foe at a glance. Page 365 of the book Irshat says, “Let nothing prevent you from bonding with Him, with Hazrat Mahdi (as), and those who would prevent you are those who shelter behind corruption.” In other words, he says that people will seek to approach Hazrat Mahdi (as), but people of no character, who love corruption and are oppressive, will hinder Muslims. He says they always shelter behind corruption. He says that if they speak, they speak evil. He says that those who wish to enter and hinder the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) always speak filth, rubbish and corruption. Sheikh Muhammed Ibrahim Bin Nomani says this on page 252 of the Gaybeti Nomani. Let nothing hinder you from joining Hazrat Mahdi (as), he says. Those who wish to prevent you, to prevent you joining the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) are those who always shelter behind corruption, who speak evil if they speak, who speak evil and immorality. Anas Ibn Malik says that our Prophet (saas) says that the dajjal will come and descend on one side of Medina, which means city in Arabic. By the edge of the city, he means Istanbul. In other words, the system of the Dajjal is Darwinism, materialism and the entire system of corruption. Medina will be rocked 3 times, and all the hypocrites and unbelievers will emerge and head toward it. That is in Bukhari hadith collection. The account says that all the hypocrites will be cleaned out and the unbelievers will be neutralized and expelled from the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Insha’Allah. It is narrated from Sevvan that; a community from my Ummah, the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will combat superstition with truth until Allah’s command is made good, and that those who leave them without help or who abandon them will do them no harm. This is a book of authentic hadith. A group from my Ummah will continue to act under Allah’s command, and those who abandon and oppose them, even though truth is on their side, will do no harm to the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as). They will be victorious until Allah’s command comes. This account comes from Muavviye. There are many such hadith, and I have listed just a few to make people aware of them.

5- ACTIONS THE HYPOCRITES WILL TAKE AGAINST THE FAITHFUL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: …He says they gathered information against Muslims and even awaited news of disaster from you. But Allah says the ring of disaster will close in around them. He says the ring of disaster will fall upon their heads, and that in the event they fall apart they will use their means and be more at ease, because they want you to be like them. They want you to end up in the same state as them, he says. The Qur’an says that when our Prophet (saas) was speaking in the mosque such a person would use him to shelter behind. That is a reference to the hypocrites. They try to stop assistance being provided. For example, hypocrites do not want help to be extended. Do not help or support them, they say, let them fall apart. Hypocrites serve as informers in order to impose economic sanctions on Muslims and to have them crushed by anti-Muslim forces and to bring the two together face to face. One verse says there will be those among you who bear news to them. So another characteristic of hypocrites is that they are informers, they carry reports concerning Muslims. But Allah creates the hypocrite. Allah also creates the other side, though the hypocrite is unaware of that. The hypocrite imagines he does these things independently. He also thinks that Muslims are an independent force when he bears tales concerning them. But Allah creates both the hypocrite and the place he carries his reports to. And Allah creates Muslims. Allah creates all power. But a special place is prepared for hypocrites in the deepest level of hell. They strive to deserve that place and duly go to the lowest place in hell.

6- HYPOCRITES CAN BE KNOWN FROM THEIR FACES AND WORDS

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: These hypocrites’ facial expressions are all wrong, too. They can be identified by that. But certain recognition comes with hypocrisy identifying itself. It can be seen from their opposition to Muslims, in other words. It emerges from their carrying reports about Muslims to the unbeliever, their efforts to drive them apart, their living among Muslims but informing on them to the irreligious, their giving information to Muslims’ enemies and their forming alliances to attack them. That was how it was in the time of our Prophet (saas). The hypocrites created an intelligence network with the unbelievers who were attacking the Muslims and carried information to them. But they were fearful. They did not join their ranks entirely. Neither were they fully on the side of the Muslims. But at the end of the day, Allah says, they will line up alongside Muslims like nothing. They will claim to have been alongside the Muslims. That is the perfidious and immoral people they are. As if such people have not done the same things before.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (10 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course the hypocrite is of little intelligence. He imagines he is very clever indeed. He uses very facile and crude methods to influence other people, but they are very obvious and blatant. In other words, they develop a very illogical and unpleasant way of dealing. They use a language incompatible with the moral values of the Qur’an, a very cunning, sly and manipulative one, from which they can be recognized. By Allah’s leave, there is also something defective in such people’s facial expressions. …

REPORTER: Yes…

ADNAN OKTAR: There are also defects in their speech. But Allah says that, if He wishes, one can recognize them from their facial expressions, and from their speech. Many examples of their defective speech are given in the Qur’an.

7- HYPOCRITES WHO LIVED IN THE TIME OF OUR PROPHET (SAAS)

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (18 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Look at the perfidy in the time of our Prophet (saas). They obtained a new mosque; they did not want to go to our Prophet’s (saas) mosque. Ask why they built it, and they will say as a good deed. But from there they organize anti-Muslim activities and attacks on them. In other words, the worst form of perfidy. They will also emerge in Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) community. The will collaborate with the unbelievers and harbor an infinite hatred. Until the establishment of the Turkish-Islamic Union, when they will be scattered like dogs. After gathering strength, our Prophet (saas) also scattered the hypocrites like curs, and they were literally paralyzed. But in the early days they really tried to crush the Muslims. But they were so perfidious and shameless that one even hid behind the Prophet (saas) as he was speaking. Look at the stupidity of that. He thought he could not be seen. The Prophet (saas) says let us fight, but he says not in that heat. The verses say that they would have joined in had they been given a bit of money, or had the distance involved been short or middling, but the road involved was far too difficult for them, Allah says. I am giving the essence of it here. The hypocrites will end up in the lowest part of hell.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (22 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There are hypocrites of the time of the Prophet Musa (as). As you know the hypocrite of that time, Samiri, made a statue of a calf. And Prophet Musa told him that he will say untouchable till the end of his life and so he sent him away. There are also hypocrites of the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). They will be the most despicable, vile, backstabbing beings of that time. They will fight against Mahdi. They will act within an organized structure. Our Prophet (saas) says that these people will grow with the community of Hazrat Mahdi (as) and then leave him, that they will leave this community three times. Prophet says that Medina, the city, will shake and they will leave. Prophet compares them to filthy weevils picking on wheat. It means that the students of Mahdi (as) are as clean as wheat. But they will pick on them just as filthy weevils, yet they will be cleaned out. They will at the lowest layer of hell insha’Allah.

8- LAICISM IS A SYSTEM THAT WILL DO AWAY WITH HYPOCRISY

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW FOR THE AZERBAIJAN STATE NEWS AGENCY (August 2008)

ADNAN OKTAR: Islam is best implemented under laicism. It is experienced in the most perfect form under laicism. Hypocrisy emerges once laicism goes. People start to say they are Muslims although they are not. Compulsion enters the equation, a conception of the religion based on compulsion. There is compulsion on the streets. Something like that breaks out. That is what happens when laicism goes. But what happens under laicism? Armenians openly say they are Armenians, live by their faith and go and worship in their churches. The Jew goes and worships in his synagogue. The Christian goes and worships in church. And the Muslim goes and prays in the mosque. Nobody interferes with anyone else. Everyone is respectful of and pleasant to everyone else. Irreligious people can say they are irreligious. May Allah forbid. Although there is nothing acceptable about it to us, the atheist can also say that. A communist can say he is a communist. That is what laicism brings about. But what happens when laicism disappears? What happens when you ask the communist what he is? Alhamdulillah, I am a Muslim, he will say. Is that real religion? It is hypocrisy. You compel people to adopt dishonesty and falsity. People must be free to honestly and genuinely say they are communists. Let someone say he is an atheist, and let the state treat him with affection and protect and watch out for him and treat him as a first-class citizen. In other words, there is no question of belittling anyone because of their beliefs. Nobody can be deprived of the right to life. Democratic rights cannot be taken away. They are whatever Allah has created them to be. In the Qur’an, Allah says that there will be pagans and people who do not believe in Him. And who creates them? Allah. I could have made them all religious had I wished, says Allah. I could have made them all Muslims. But there is wisdom behind Allah creating them as they are. The advantage with laicism is that it bestows freedom on all. Religion and secularism are in complete harmony. That is how it was in Ottoman times, and how it will be in the future, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S ECH CHOROUK EL YOUMI (ALGERIA) INTERVIEW (17 November 2008)

ADNAN OKTAR: The Islam brought by our Prophet (saas) also enshrines laicism. Laicism also respects the irreligious, Christians and Jews. Everyone can live as they wish, and there is no duress. Nobody interferes with anyone else because of their religion, and there are therefore no hypocrites in such a system. Indeed, laicism is a system of thought taken from the revealed religions. Islam was not drawn from laicism, but laicism is drawn from the Islamic faiths.

ADNAN OKTAR: Under the alternative system people are forced to become Muslims. Hypocrisy thrives in such a system. People pretend to be Muslims although they are not. If you use force to compel someone to pray and fast, hypocrisy thrives in that system. But in the absence of duress, and Allah says there is no compulsion in the religion, then it is a question of “your religion for you,” as Allah puts it in the Qur’an, “and our religion for us.” These verses clearly show the existence of laicism.

9- ALLAH WILL EXPOSE AND CHASTISE THE HYPOCRITES

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTRVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: … Allah says that He knows they lie. They know it themselves, though they deny it. But their tongues will start to speak in the hereafter, their eyes will start to speak and their skin will start to speak, and they will see that there is nothing about immorality that is defensible. They already know this in their hearts, but it will become a conscious thing in the hereafter, at which time they will see everything clearly. They imagine that they are deceiving Allah, but in the hereafter they will realize that they cannot deceive Him (Surely Allah is beyond that)…

……For example, the most extreme hypocrites emerged in the time of our Prophet (saas). In other words, later hypocrites will be a different thing. The hypocrites in the time of our Prophet (saas) were the most extreme because they personally witnessed him, his marvelous nature and moral values. That is why Allah says He will place them in the lowest part of hell, where they will receive the worst punishment. This is a great source of relief for believers, of course, though it has been specially created for hypocrites. One can see that they have been created in destiny in that way if one looks at things in terms of a manifestation of Allah’s knowledge of Divine Providence, ilm al-ladun.

10- THE HYPOCRITES WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL IN DRAWING MUSLIMS CLOSER TO ALLAH

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hypocrites and unbelievers are specially brought here from hell for the education of Muslims. Muslims learn from them, in other words.
For example, hypocrites and unbelievers are instrumental in Muslims drawing closer to Allah. Allah uses them to draw Muslims to Himself. When we look at unbelievers and hypocrites, we gain a better conception of the value of faith and reason. And we draw closer to Allah. As we combat them, we gain merit from the intellectual struggle and earn the approval of Allah. This system allows us to love Allah, whom we already love with a fervent passion, even more.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, in the time of the Prophet (saas) it was instrumental in the Companions maintaining their fervor. Hypocrites kept the Companions fervent, in other words. Hypocrites spur believers on, in other words. Believers who love Allah and wage the struggle and see the immorality of the hypocrites serve Islam and the Qur’an with an even greater enthusiasm.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KARADENIZ (7 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hypocrites have always existed in time. They are like germs, evils of the society. They are inferior creatures. They have existed in the time of our Prophet (saas) and in the time of Prophet Musa (as). They have existed also before then. Yet this increases the value of the believers. It will be the glory and beauty of the believer. It is like the comparison of coal and diamond. The despicable character of these vile creatures and the high morality, excellent attitude, bravery, patience of these blessed people will be compared. Thus we will love these people more. There is good in terms of this.

11- THE HYPOCRITES WILL BE CAST INTO THE LOWEST LEVEL OF HELL

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There are entities with special duties in hell. Their number is given as 19 in the Qur’an, and even if they beg them these entities will remain unaffected. They have been specially created, the demons that drag souls down to hell. They are under Allah’s command and very strong, and they drag people to hell. They use force, and Allah has given them a special power. They are manifestations of Allah, but even though they live in hell, and this is very important, it does not trouble them. For them hell is like paradise. They are immune to it through something bestowed on them by Allah. It has a completely different effect on them, though it means suffering for the unbelievers. The demons serve Allah there as His servants, and the hypocrites will be sent down in the lowest level of hell for all eternity. The hypocrites of the time of the Prophet Musa (as), the time of our Prophet (saas) and of the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will all be brought together and cast into the lowest level of hell. That, of course, is a place of darkness and suffering, a filthy place stinking of fire and magma, but it will be comparing that place with paradise that will be the worst suffering of all for them. Their suffering will be much enhanced when they catch a glimpse of paradise. Insha’Allah...

REPORTER: …will there be demons or human beings in the lowest level of hell. Could you tell us about that?

ADNAN OKTAR: The hypocrites will be there. But satan will be alongside them all. The hypocrites will exist side by side with satan. The unbelievers will exist side by side with him. They will be with satan at every level.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (22 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Even the ones there will tell him that he’s so despicable. He will know his rank and also that he’s a hypocrite. He will be sure of his contemptibleness and his inferior character and he will burn with its torment.

MR. ADNAN OKTAR'S EXCERPTS FROM HIS INTERVIEWS ABOUT HELL

1- THE UNHAPPY LIVES OF THE INHABITANTS OF HELL IN THIS WORLD

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The features of paradise and hell are equally revealed in the world. Therefore, people who do not think of the hereafter or Allah’s approval assume all those features of hell. This world turns into a complete hell for them. But if a believer constantly lives with a fear and love of Allah and always reflects on death, then those characteristics of hell are removed from his sight and he sees only the heavenly aspects of the world. His heart and soul literally inhabit paradise and he lives in great comfort. That is why Muslims, believers, have an abundance, plenty and beauty.

ADNAN OKTAR' LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a kind of fire in hell, whereby people burn on the inside. We are told there are no flames on the outside, but people will burn internally. People who fall into disbelief in this world, who do not love and fear Allah, live in a state of poor moral, joylessness, unhappily and wary and suspicious of all things, in an unbearably troubled state. This is one way that the fire of hell burns from the inside.

It burns these people internally. The same thing will apply in the hereafter. In hell, too, people will burn on the inside and be terribly troubled and uncomfortable, suffering unbearable pain, although this fire will be internal. There is also an external fire, as you know, normal flames.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CHANNEL 35, (1 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: I sometimes chat to young people, boys and girls, and ask them things. I ask them, for instance, whether they have anyone they really trust. “To tell the truth,” they say, “not a single one.” ”I have nobody I trust,” they say. “I have a genuine girlfriend, but I do not trust her at all.” But this is very important. One needs to have friends one can trust as one trusts oneself. Then one can be happy. Otherwise, you spend all your time with people who lie and whom you do not trust. It is like living in a chamber of hell. So we see the faces of people who live in the chamber of hell; they cannot be happy. That is why it is essential to live tightly by the moral values of the Qur’an. It is essential to live with a love and fear of Allah. In that event, true happiness can spread across the world, and people have a real need of that.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (26 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ...In the hereafter, they say that sorrow and regret have got the better of them. When asked why they have come to hell, why they are in that predicament, they say that sorrow and regret got the better of them. That is in the human soul, a satanic feature. They constantly look for sorrow, but never for joy and happiness. They seek burdens, fatigue and sorrow. They seek a reason to be sorrowful in everything. But a Muslim must seek goodness, beauty and mercy in all things. And since Muslims look for goodness and beauty in all things, their world becomes a paradise. But since people who do not believe in Allah are always sorrowful and tormented, their world is a hell.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For irreligious people, death is the beginning of a disaster. Even before death they burn in this world with the pain of lovelessness and being without passion, of always doubting other people, and with the pain of loneliness, insecurity and selfishness. They are the subjects of many tribulations, though they imagine this to be just part of the normal course of life.

2- THE SITUATION OF PEOPLE CREATED FOR HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CHANNEL 35 (IZMIR) (14 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: …Because a huge mass of people are created for hell. We cannot compel someone who is created for hell, and who makes us feel that, to adopt the virtues of paradise. Our Prophet (saas) also tells us that. Almighty Allah says “Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not become believers.”. Our Prophet (saas) made enormous efforts for them to find the right way, whereas they had actually come from hell. They want it, they want hell. They want to go where they are going. You can tell a sick person that Allah is testing him and will bestow paradise on him if the results of that test are good, and if the person is a Muslim he will be delighted and rejoice. But these are meaningless words for an unbeliever, someone who denies Allah. But there is nothing surprising in that. There will be many people like that. That is how the world has been created. Things will go on like that until Doomsday. People will be tested.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CHANNEL 35 (IZMIR) (7 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: These are people who have been brought from hell; people who have come from hell. Our Prophet (saas), so nice, lovable and holy, met many such people. He tells them in all sincerity. And Allah says, “Perhaps you will destroy yourself with grief “ Our Prophet (saas) strives with all his might so that they will believe. But they look at him emptily, with uncomprehending eyes. The fact is that they have come from hell and will never believe. That is why Allah warns him. Look, his soul is so fine and full of love he is distraught because they will not believe and will go to hell. And he makes himself very tense. He really upsets himself, to the extent that it will damage his health. Allah tells the Prophet (saas) he will nearly destroy himself. Therefore, such people have been specially created. There is a whole community that has been specially created for hell. That is where they belong and come from. They are already active there. And they have been created in such a way as to understand nothing. ”They have eyes that don’t see”, says Allah. ”They have ears they do not hear with”, He says. ”Such people are like cattle. No, they are even further astray”, in terms of their failing to understand what they are told. He also says their hearts and eyes are blind. You imagine them to be alive, He says, but they are dead. But people imagine that Muslims do not know this, that they think they live like zombies. But these people are dead, as I have already said. There can be dead people, but people cannot understand. Many people are dead. There are many dead people. Many people are djinn, for example, but people do not know them. Also there is satan. He moves among people. And people cannot know the dead. People talk to the dead, but it is like talking to a brick wall.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KON TV (KONYA) (14 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: In verse 81 of Surat at-Tawba, Allah says “Those who were left behind were glad to stay behind the Messenger of Allah. They did not want to strive with their wealth and themselves in the Way of Allah. They said, ‘Do not go out to fight in the heat.’ Say: ‘The Fire of Hell is much hotter, if they only understood’.” In other words, there will be people who say, it’s summer let’s mind our own business, what concern is it of yours to preach the word and spread the religion? But Almighty Allah says “the fire of hell is even hotter. If only they understood”, He says.

3-THE MOMENT OF DEATH AND THE ENTERING TO THE HELL OF THE PEOPLE OF HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CHANNEL 35 (IZMIR) (1 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People can die both spiritually and physically as they talk. There are some types who engage in immorality and shameful behavior and who imagine that nothing will happen, but Allah immediately seizes them from behind. Izra’il (as) drags them to hell. We continue talking to them, and one imagines they are still alive, though they have in fact been placed in the middle of hell. The Qur’an says there are people who go to hell with no questions asked. They are sent directly to hell. For instance, a man may have died a week ago, and they say the light has gone from his eyes and his speech is impaired and his words are not really conscious. People do not realize that he is dead and has stopped breathing, since a person can die spiritually before his physical death.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ... Everything in disbelief, every stage of it, is terrifying. There is the suffering stage, and the stage of the departure of the soul. There is the stage of the soul’s being carried away. It is beaten and it is dragged off. Then it is humiliated at its destination. They drag it along the ground. They have to crawl, there is no working upright.
For instance, some people’s eyes do not see, and their ears do not hear. They are in a very distressing situation, one in which they should regret what they have done. People imagine they must really regret their actions, but their obstinacy and excess just grow still further in hell.

Allah says they ”glance around them furtively”. In one verse, He says, they conceal their regret. In other words, they become even more fanatical and contrary. And most do not request a direct blessing from Allah. ‘Tell your Lord,’ he says. They address the keepers and demons of hell in those terms, and they also address believers in paradise in such terms.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (26 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah so adorns the universe that human beings will like it. For example, when we go to the hereafter, Allah could put us into paradise straightaway, as soon as we die. But He does not. He first collects everyone together by the edges of hell, where an excitement arises, one that will please them. There is a light in front of them. If He so wished, He could illuminate everywhere, and there would be no need for that. There is a light to their right, intended as an adornment, something attractive. He then tells Muslims to move on, that they are going to paradise. And Muslims feel an enormous excitement. They enter paradise chanting the takbir. Meanwhile, the dwellers in hell suffer enormously and are terrified and devastated, and that is a tribulation upon them. And that is the form the tribulation should take. Allah gives the tribulation that form. If He so wished, Allah could put them into a chamber in hell and constantly inflict sufferings upon them if torment were the only aim. But Allah wishes to create an image there, a majesty. Those who see hell are terrified, for example. Allah creates Doomsday for them to see His might. A great terror and amazement result, in terms of His demonstrating His own might. Allah adorns all things. He adorns human beings, giving them muscles, eyes and noses. This is part of that adornment.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (26 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: When the dwellers in hell arrive there, they say, ‘Yes, we deserve it.’ Even if they do not say it themselves, their tongues and skins, their bodily organs, will say it.

4- DISPUTATIONS AMONG THE PEOPLE OF HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KARADENIZ TV (22 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: What the people of hell do from morning to night is fight. They will blame one another for ending up in hell and establish street gangs; on the dark streets of hell. They will constantly beat one another wherever they find them. Everyone will beat everyone else. As you know, there is no death in hell, but there is much suffering. There is much torment. They want to get away from it. But there is no escape, of course. The only occupation of the people of hell is hurting one another.

5- HELL CONSISTS OF VARIOUS LAYERS

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ...there are various degrees in hell. Some parts are filthy, dark streets, where there is just fighting, suffering, discomfort and filthy food. But some places are for the hypocrites, where there is intense suffering.

6- THE CUSTODIANS OF HELL

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There are special custodians who drag souls to hell. The Qur’an says there are 19 of them. They are beings who will turn a deaf ear even if beseeched. They have been specially created, the demons that drag souls to hell.

REPORTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: They are under Allah’s command. They are very strong and powerful and drag people away. They do it by force. Allah has given them a special strength. They are the manifestations of Allah but, and this is very important, although they live in hell they do not feel its discomfort. Hell is like paradise to them. Allah bestows something on them that means they are unaffected by them. Indeed, it has the opposite effect. But hell is torment for the unbeliever. Meaning it is a matter of perception.

REPORTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: They are subjugated to Allah as His servants there. They will serve Allah for all eternity as the demons that drag souls down to hell.

7- MATERIALISTS AND DARWINSTS WILL ENCOUNTER THE ENVIRONMENT THEY MAINTAIN EXISTS IN THIS WORLD WHEN THEY GO TO HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (28 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: It will be the exact same environment that Darwinists, materialists and Pharaoh dreamed of.

They speak of the primordial atmosphere, the first state of the earth and the primitive conditions facing human beings. The first human beings, the Stone Age and that kind of thing...

TEMPO TV: Darwinist talk.

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes. How they supposedly attacked one another with axes in their hands. How they spilled blood and lacked the power of speech. They will be at exactly that same primitive level in the hereafter. And they will be covered in hair and beard, just as they described, in a wretched condition, covered in dust and their eyes a dark purple. Most of them will be blind and deaf, with their heads facing backward and their bodies deformed; they will be created to be really horrible to look at. The waters of hell are boiling sulfur. Because according to their accounts, the water emerging from the earth cannot have been fresh water. Since there is magma in the earth, and water, and sulfur and metals, the water must be a filthy, sulfurous kind of thing. Allah will produce sulfurous, boiling waters for those who disputed the fact He created sweet, fresh water, and they will have to drink of it, whether they want to or not. They will drink it because they are thirsty. They will have to meet one another. They talk about the class struggle, how people are in a constant state of conflict and fighting, with the classes warring among themselves, in other words, of an environment of unending conflict. There is also a conflict between the strong and the weak, they say, as described by Darwin. There will be the same thing in hell. They will constantly form groups there, and fight with one another, and wound and try to kill each other. But there is no death in hell. They will do what need to be done to kill, but the other party will stay alive, rather than dying. Verses describe how under the impact of the flames of hell, people’s skins and faces will peel off. But they will be replaced with new flesh. And the flames of hell will burn that flesh off once more. There is no burning once and then dying, as in this world. The burning there is an endless one.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (19 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hell is the kind of place that materialists speak of and imagine. It is an exact match for what they say. They claim that the primordial environment they speak of existed from the first creation of the earth. It is a horrible place where magma boils, with hot fire and smoke and where boiling, sulfurous waters bubble. The inhabitants of hell are very ugly. They talk about types that have mutated, and they are just like that. Their head face backward while their arms are in the front. Most of them are blind and deaf and they crawl on the ground, in the same way that human beings used to walk on four legs. This is a very great miracle. Their faces and appearances are very primitive and repulsive, making them utterly terrifying.

8- HUMILIATION IN HELL

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (19 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ...there is a terrible humiliation, their honor is terribly shattered. One of the main features of hell is the pay that pride and arrogance in people are crushed. When they lie during questioning, their eyes will speak. When they say they did not see something, their eyes will say that they did. When they deny having said something, their mouths will speak and confirm that they did say it. Therefore, their lives in which they are so humiliated will be very wretched ones. But one of their worst torments will be that they can always see paradise and compare their condition to it. They will see the lives that Muslims lead from afar off. They will be humiliated and suffer much tribulation. They will suffer regret for all eternity.

9- THE CLIMATE OF TORMENT IN HELL

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKİN TV (9 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: “Whereas for those who are unbelievers there will be the Fire of Hell. They will not be killed off so that they die” In other words, Allah is saying they cannot die. “its punishment will not be lightened for them.” They are in a constant state of torment. “That is how We repay every thankless man.” “They will scream out, O Lord, let us out, let us do something purer than what we have done.” In other words, they will beg to be sent back to the world. They will ask to be able to exhibit pure behavior. Allah says, “Did We not let you live long enough for anyone who was going to pay heed to pay heed?” In other words, Allah asks whether they had not been given sufficient time.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (13 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The deniers are generally black in appearance; their eyes are purple, meaning they have no colored parts and no whites. Allah says they are blind and deaf. Some of their heads face backward, while others’ faces are on the top of their heads. The verse says that their habitat will be one of hot magma, one that will repel them. There will be ugly plants and unpleasant smells.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON VATAN TV (2 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ... the unbelievers in hell and everything is divided into negative and positive. All the negatives are in hell; all negative things, darkness, evil, filth and errors are in hell. Whereas all positive things are in paradise.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hell is a place of the exact opposite, meaning that everything is in a defective, polluted, rotten and disgusting state. In other words, it is just as the materialists describe it all. There is magma, and people are malformed or incompletely formed, with their noses or mouths being displaced, for example. They are dirty, their mouths are dirty, their bodies are dirty. There is no washing in hell, which stinks and is utterly filthy. Vile smells, vile filth, vile words, vile darkness, vile food and a generally vile everything are characteristics of hell.

ADNAN OKTAR'IS LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: But people can speak in hell. Allah says they even conceal their repentance. That means that even in their pain they persist in their immorality. Allah says their faces and flesh will melt in the flames, that only their skulls will be left, but that He will then restore their flesh, but that they will still live in immorality. Allah has created them like that, and that is how they live. That is their destiny, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (29 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, hell is intelligent and under Allah’s command. Everything there, as a whole, is in an active state. It directly attacks disbelief, insha’Allah.

10- THE SPIRITUAL TORMENT IN HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR : Yes, of course it is a place of longing. They are devoid of all blessings. They have lost all the blessings that Allah bestows. They have lost happiness and joy, and all they have is regret in all its forms. For one thing, they can see the trees of paradise, the inhabitants of paradise. And the heads of the inhabitants of hell face backward, and they are strange-looking entities like those fantastical beings they used to imagine had been subjected to mutation. They see the beauties of the inhabitants of paradise, but they see it all on a small screen. They cannot be there with them, and that means terrible suffering for them. They suffer terrible longing, but they can never leave. They can never leave hell unless Allah so chooses.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (4 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: But unbelievers will be subjected to scourges on all sides. It will begin with death. The way they are dragged off will be full of pain, suffering and distress. The grave will also distress them. The people who die are wretched when they die and wretched when resurrected again, and those around them will give them no ease. The unbelievers will attack one another there. They will claim that one is responsible for another’s being there, and vice versa. There will be constant fighting and outrage there. And they will constantly torment one another. Everything in hell is unpleasant for people. I have previously described how there is fruit in hell, shaped like the head of satan, as it says in the Qur’an. The fruit will look directly at people, stare at them with hatred. These are things intended to distress, alarm and torment people.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (24 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: And they will be able to see paradise. On a screen like a television. The inhabitants of paradise and hell will be able to see each other. This will make the inhabitants of paradise happy, because they will be able to compare their states. They will say that Allah could have kept them there, instead. Thanks be to Allah, I have been saved, they will say. And the inhabitants of hell will wish they had not done what they did. They will suffer such intense regret.
Reporter: Regret.

ADNAN OKTAR: But Allah says, They conceal their regret. He says, ”glance around them furtively”. Their pride and obstinacy will persist even there. Their immorality, pride and feelings of superiority even there, are amazing and will persist there, as well. Even though everything is clear. There the boundaries of the mind has been exceeded. and they will still persist in their excess and shamelessness. They will say, tell your Lord... They will not ask Allah to give them a blessing, but rather will say, tell your Lord... They will not contact Allah directly. They will be reluctant to address Him directly. Because of their pride and obstinacy.

11- THE FOOD AND ANIMALS IN HELL

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (3 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hell is literally like someone having a nightmare. Whatever one sees or touches is terrifying. Even a stone there, for instance, is terrifying and disturbing. Plants there are terrifying. There are plants there with satan’s head. The fruit resembles satan and has eyes and looks at them with hatred and aggression. How can they even reach out to pick it? It smells disgusting and is utterly horrible. Trying to eat anything is another nightmare. They see hatred everywhere, even when they sit down to eat. The places they live upset them. Wherever they go is a complete nightmare for them. The animals there will not resemble animals, but will appear before them as terrifying entities.

12- BELIEVERS WILL BE EVEN MORE DELIGHTED WHEN THEY LOOK AT HELL FROM PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (7 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ...questioning is a kind of celebration for believers. Something delightful. Something in which we see our love and depth in the face of Allah. But questioning for the unbeliever is very terrible. Believers can learn from that. This wisdom is so they can better appreciate the value of paradise and belief. Look, let me underline this. The delight people take from being in paradise will be increased many, many times over when they look at hell. In that respect, hell is a great blessing for believers. In other words, one’s delight in something is enhanced a thousand times by looking at hell. That delight will be reduced if one does not see hell. Believers’ devotion to Allah will be increased many times over when they see the unbeliever being held to account. And their sincere convictions of the values of faith and regarding how they have done the right things and how useful the things they have done are, will be enhanced and strengthened so many times over. Because the boundaries of the mind is not exceeded in the hereafter. Because the unbeliever will still continue to have a unbeliever mindset, because they will find some kind of supposed logic to account for hell, saying it is a hoax perpetrated by capitalists, or an invention, or that they are oppressing people by using equipment and devices to control the electrical system in the brain, or other such irrational and unbelievable explanations. In those terms, believers will continue to believe there. The more they see hell, the more believers will be motivated. They will love paradise even more. Paradise is most delightful. We will enjoy it very much. Insha’Allah you and I will be brothers there.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV 3 FEBRUARY 2009

ADNAN OKTAR: : The dwellers in paradise will be most delighted of all when they see the inhabitants of hell. It is most important to give thanks. One will compare them with oneself. “Allah forbid, but what if Allah had cast me there and I were there now?” one will say. People will rub the soil of paradise into their hands and faces in gratitude. One will always be able to see hell from paradise. The inhabitants of hell will always be able to see paradise and thus lament, and this is one of the worst torments He inflicts on them. It is one of the most severe torments of hell. Comparison makes a person’s suffering much worse, and also intensifies their pleasure. The comparison is a part of Allah’s ilm al-ladun, that is the knowledge of Divine Providence. Through ilm al-ladun, Allah enables people to be happy and thus enjoy profound pleasure.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (4 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Believers are profoundly affected by hell. They will look and give thanks to Allah. Because they will see the empty places in hell. Places that would have been theirs, but that are empty because they are not there. They will see it and be delighted. Allah also creates hell in order for believers to rejoice. Hell is actually a great blessing for paradise, as well. It is a great blessing for the dwellers in paradise that enhances the taste of paradise. And paradise is an anguish that intensifies the suffering of the inhabitants of hell many, many times over. People will love paradise, but paradise will inflict torment on those who inhabit the hell. The more they look, the worse they will suffer and feel longing. The believer, on the other hand, will know the joy and excitement of salvation, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KAÇKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR :.. that is why Allah threatens Muslims with hell, so they will be well behaved and virtuous. In paradise we will understand just how beneficial hell is for us, insha’Allah. Hell is a blessing that increases and encourages love of Allah. It is a blessing for believers, because it will enable them to appreciate the value of paradise. It will allow them to enjoy the delights of paradise very much more. Because they have seen Allah’s justice, their love of Him will grow many times over. That is the greatest impact. The more they see hell on a screen like a television screen, the more their love for the trees, beauties, streets and houses of paradise will grow. Allah says in one verse, “They know no weariness.” This is one of the things that enable them to feel no weariness, their ability to see hell, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KAÇKAR TV (12 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: They should have trusted in Allah there. But they were weak and have committed an error. We now see how important the existence of hell is. For example, had Almighty Allah inflicted pain on the Prophet Adam (as), if he had known what suffering was and had seen hell while he was in paradise, then perhaps he would not have done what he did. But he came to earth, saw he was wearing nothing and had natural needs, at which he wept. But seeing the nature of what took place he was devastated and learned what suffering was. For example, when he was in paradise he did not know that fire burns people, that was unknown in paradise. Suffering was unknown in paradise. Nobody knew what suffering or fear was. It was here that he learned what sorrow, fear, tribulation and trouble were. The prophet Adam (as) is now in paradise, though he can see hell and has seen it as suffering. If satan were now to offer to feed him from the tree of eternity, to feed him the fruits of eternity, he would never consider it for a moment, and would never, on the basis of his past experience, repeat the same mistake. This is the wisdom that Almighty Allah refers to; hell is necessary; hell will elevate your love for, trust in and obedience to Allah, and your trust in His word, to the very highest levels and make them very powerful. He says that the more you see of hell the more you will appreciate paradise, and that it is in this that the wisdom of hell consists. Allah has not created hell solely in order to burn and torture people. In reference to hell and other pains, Almighty Allah says in one verse “Why should Allah punish you if you are thankful and believe?” Almighty Allah says he has no wish to torment people. That is not His aim. He says that His aim is people’s peace, comfort, joy and happiness. But hell is needed for that, and fear of Allah. What do they say? Fear him who has no fear of Allah, they say. Of course we will not fear such a person, and that is an entirely different matter. But that is what people say. It means a lack of fear of Allah is dangerous and risky. No harm will come from someone who fears Allah. Such people are rational, far-sighted and full of love, and that is the wisdom of hell. The secret can be rather better understood looked at in terms of ilm al-ladun of Allah. Allah is above all rulers. Allah is infinite mind, and He possesses omniscience in ilm al-ladun of Allah. But someone who knows and understands just a little of the ilm al-ladun of Allah will know what He means in that verse, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 (IZMIR) (14 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People do not look on hell with love. If they looked at it with a love of Allah, they would also love hell. Hell is actually the source of love. Because it is a threat to the cruel and a great weapon that eliminates immorality. Hell is the true source of happiness. Allah did not show hell to them in the time of the Prophet Adam (as), and you see what happened. You see the affectation and two-facedness of satan, and you know how he deceived the Prophet Adam (as). He also deceived Hawwa, and they behaved in a manner diametrically opposed to Allah’s command. But hell exists at this moment, and it gives people, all Muslims, a great upbringing.

13- WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO LEAVE HELL ONCE THEY HAVE ENTERED IT?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKİN TV (2 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: It is said that Allah will forgive some believers who undergo punishment, but that refers to a very specific community. A very small community. Very few people. It is not something very broad in scope. It is part of Sunni belief. They will be raised to paradise after expiating their sins for a short or specific period of time in hell. But under normal circumstances, nobody will be able to cross the gates of paradise or hell once they have closed.

14- THE HYPOCRITES WILL BE IN THE LOWEST PLACE IN HELL

ADNAN OKTAR’IS LIVE INTERVIEW ON ÇAY TV (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Will there be ademon at the bottom of the lowest place in hell, or a human being? Could you tell us about this?

ADNAN OKTAR: There will be hypocrites, but satan will be alongside them all. He will be alongside all the irreligious. For example, the hypocrites will be side by side with satan. The unbeliever will also be side by side with him in every layer of hell, everywhere.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON BASKENT TV (24 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Hypocrisy in any case comes from hell. It is sent to earth from the lowest pit of hell, where the hypocrites are. And at the same time it goes there from this world. But people fail to comprehend that, as time is relative.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV’ (25 February 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The hypocrites will be sent to the lowest layer of hell. The hypocrites from the time of the Prophet Musa, of our Prophet’s (saas) time, and from the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will all be collected together and sent down to the very lowest layer of hell. This is a very dark place, of course, one of intense suffering, a filthy place, somewhere in which the torment of the stench of fire and magma and pollution are most intense. But the thing that will make them unhappiest of all is comparison. Comparing their environment with paradise. Their suffering will increase the more they look at paradise, insha’Allah.

15- TRUE BELIEVERS WILL SAY “I AM SATISFIED IF ALLAH SENDS ME TO PARADISE OR TO HELL”

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (29 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: We are happy with everything Allah gives. We are happy with all outcomes. A believer submits to Allah and is content with all things. A believer says he is content whether Allah sends him to paradise or hell. But he says he wishes for paradise. But, Allah forbid, even if the believer goes to hell he will still burn with love of Allah there. But he will not go there. I am saying that to clarify the issue. Nobody who burns with a love of Allah goes to hell.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (2 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR : Allah’s approval. Just Allah’s approval. If Allah sends me to hell I will still be mad with love there. I love Allah with a passion, and I will love Him with a passion no matter what He does.

13- THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANIMALS OF PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (March 3, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: ... And the snake in Paradise may be very pleasant and delightful, wriggling around and speaking the finest words. For example, it may wind itself around someone like a scarf, make jokes and make itself very popular. Allah will create it to be agreeable and attractive. It is in any case a cute animal, but is dangerous because it is poisonous. We are told in the Torah and the hadith that snakes will lose their venom in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). The animal is normally attractive enough to be hypnotic, very decorative and very attractive. But people dislike it because it is dangerous, or because it is cold, or cold to the touch, whereas if it were warm and loveable and made people love it, it would have more adornments. For instance, the animals of Paradise will be covered in pearls and diamonds, they will wear the special adornments of Paradise. Imagine them moving around covered in bright and eye-catching jewels; that will be really beautiful.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KARADENIZ TV (January 30, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: All animals in Paradise talk and are highly intelligent. They are friendly. For example, cats, dogs and rabbits, all the kinds of animal we love can talk in Paradise. Deers, they can all speak, are all intelligent and are all believers. They all talk and believers love all of them. In other words, there is the highest conceivable level of beauty there.

ADNAN OKTAR'S VATAN TV INTERVIEW (April 2, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah uses symmetry and beautiful colors in everything He creates. This is a blessing, a beauty from Allah. There will be butterflies and birds also in Paradise, insha’Allah, and all will be much much more beautiful. But I would like to cite a few examples here. These things are important in terms of seeing Allah’s artistry of Creation. Yes, we are going for a close-up, aren’t we? Look how Allah bestows such glorious decoration on birds, and that is how birds will be in Paradise. They will wander around us when we want, and we will stroke their beaks and talk with them, insha’Allah. For instance this sweet one is also like that, it is like a bird of Paradise. It is quite amiable. They will be the adornments of Paradise. But they will be much finer and much more perfect. And they will be immortal. These loveable beings are mortal here, these cute creatures. But in Paradise they are immortal, insha’Allah. Yes, let me give a few examples of these creatures. Look, as I say, these will be in Paradise with all their cuteness and magnificence. Yes, butterflies. The best thing is to maintain the close-up and I can keep showing them. Yes, look how symmetrically Allah has decorated them. Yes, and here again in the same way... You see the glory in the colors. This is Allah’s creation and artistry... But these will be intelligent in Paradise, they will speak very excellently, and when we ask how they are, they will say they are very well. They also ask you the same, and they say alhamdulillah. They will be so sweet. But in this world they just stare blankly at you. They are not allowed to enjoy direct communication with human beings in this world. The Prophet Sulayman (as) knew their language and was able to communicate with them. Yes, the lovely creatures of Paradise.

14- THE WOMEN OF PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON ÇAY TV (February 25, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, the huris will be very lovely. But the women of Paradise will be even more beautiful and powerful in terms of morals and grandeur and influence. In other words, they will appear much more attractive. My answer to the question of what a devout woman should be like is this; a devout woman is in love with Allah, madly in love; she has totally surrendered herself to Him and has totally liberated herself from worldly interests, greed, discord, envy and jealousy.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (January 28, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, butterflies have their own regular make-up on their wings, and women do not use make-up either, since they will have their own make-up in their eyes. Their hair is extraordinarily beautiful on their own, and it is related that just a single hair will illuminate a whole space, this being a reference to the vibrancy and beauty of their hair. For instance, no woman in the world likes her own hair, and there is no perfect hair in this world, because subconsciously people know that perfect hair exists in Paradise. In other words, to see the hair of Paradise, to enjoy the smell, touch and quality of one’s lawful spouse’s hair is most exciting, and touching it will be very, very perfect. The whole body of the women of Paradise will be naturally very well cared for, their nails and the whole body.

In this world there are causes; women, for instance, care for themselves. The fact is, however, it is again Allah Who provides the care in question.

In other words, when a woman applies a make-up, it is again Allah Who creates that make-up on that face.

Nobody applies make-up to anyone. It is Allah Who makes every make-up. Women imagine they put their own make-up on or go to a make-up expert, but it is Allah Who does the make-up, that is Who produces their made-up state. Allah also creates perfume, and it is He Who applies it to people. It is Allah Who produces that scent, and also He Who produces unfavorable aromas.

That world is specially created so people should not be devoted to the world. People have their own natural scent in Paradise, they are naturally beautiful and everything about them is natural. Just as how flowers have their own natural scent, how the texture of carnation is naturally beautiful and just as how butterflies carry a natural and striking beauty on their wings, people in Paradise, women, will be naturally beautiful. Men will also be created in the form that women find most pleasing. In other words, [man or woman] everyone will be delighted with his/her spouse and passionately devoted to him/her. The Qur’an says “With eyes reserved for their spouses alone”, and in this verse Allah draws attention to the great importance of the way one looks.

There is a look of passion, but only believers know it. Looking with passion, being profoundly affected by passion, is a blessing peculiar to believers guarding from evil.
People who do not believe in Allah can never attain it. Never. They will never attain that strength for all eternity. But believers know true passion in this world; and they know it with all its power in Paradise.

They know about passion-filled looks, and this is noted in the Qur’an.

“With eyes reserved for their spouses alone.” This is very important, a reference to the importance of chastity. For your spouse alone.

They belong only to their spouses alone. Allah says they are like hidden pearls. Their skin is likened to eggs, in terms of their oval shape and cleanliness, women’s beauty is described in detail in the Qur’an. Men will also be created in the form that women find most pleasing.

There will be a mutual passion. Those passion-filled looks will affect them most of all, so it appears from the references in the Qur’an. Insha’Allah.

15- THE BEAUTY OF THE PLACES IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S KRAL KARADENIZ INTERVIEW (March 30, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: I was talking about this recently. I spoke about the mansions of Paradise. There are no masons or architects to build these in Paradise. Allah creates the mansions of Paradise in a single moment. The mansions of Paradise are glorious. And the goods in Paradise are all perfectly designed. And Allah does that, too. There are the goblets of Paradise and the pitchers of Paradise. These are not made in factories. Allah creates them. In the same way that Allah creates in this world, showing us things as if they had been made in a factory, so He creates in the Hereafter in the same way. There are no factories in the Hereafter Allah creates them directly. If Almighty Allah tells a thing to be, it is.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON MAVI KARADENIZ TV (February 3, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Paradise is delightful and beautiful. Accounts say that the mansions of Paradise are made of red rubies, green emeralds and white pearls. A great many crystal-type materials are used in Paradise. The bricks look like emerald, for instance, and are made of gems more precious than rubies. Paradise is most striking and luminous. Red rubies are used in abundance. Things we only very seldom here see are very common in Paradise. The people of Paradise look on these things as you do on the stars in the east and west. They are perfect and flawless. They constantly attract the eye. Bright and shiny things attract the eye and please us, do they not?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (March 3, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, normal bricks are not used, bricks made out of emerald, for instance, or diamond are used instead. Because it is as easy for Allah to create whole world made of diamond as it is to create one small diamond.

16- PEOPLE’S INFINITE DESIRES WILL BE MET IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KARADENIZ TV (January 30, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People’s infinite desires will be met in Paradise, everything one can possibly think of. Can one imagine how happy someone who has exuberated with the love of Allah there, a person who is consumed with the love of Allah will be while living there with the other lovers of Allah? A person may not have known true delight before tasting the love of Allah. We will not only enjoy the gardens and fruits of Paradise when we are there, but also the people who love Allah. We will talk with them, wander around with them and see the manifestations of the beauties of Allah for all eternity. They will be manifested everywhere, in flowers, insects, birds, animals and everything.

Allah says we can have whatever we wish. Allah has spoken very clearly. Allah says he will do or give us whatever enters our hearts. And He says there is more, that He will also bestow surprises on us that we are unaware of.

17 – THERE WILL BE ETERNAL YOUTH IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S KANAL 35 INTERVIEW (February 1, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: 33 Years, of course. The people of Paradise are all the same age, with a youthful appearance and mature mind, or, to put in another way, they are of no age at all.

PRESENTER: So a person will look 33 years old?

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, in terms that can be understood. In fact, people will be of no age in Paradise. But physically they will look perfect, neither young nor old.

18- THERE WILL BE NO NIGHT IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (February 19, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There will be light variations from Almighty Allah to give the impression of day and night. It will sometimes become slightly darker, and we will then imagine it is night. But it is generally daylight in Paradise. Insha’Allah.

19 – WILL EVERYONE SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE IN PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INETRVIEW ON KACKAR TV (February 12, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course we will use the same language, everyone will speak the same language. There are various accounts regarding this. It may be we will speak Arabic, or maybe some other languages. Allah knows, of course. This will become apparent in the Hereafter, insha’Allah. But what matters is that believers will be able to communicate very well in Paradise. In fact, a Muslim can speak whatever language he wishes, I mean we will have everything we desire in Paradise, and it will be enough for us just to think of it.
There will be no problems with memory or comprehension or learning anything, of the kind we experience in this world. A Muslim will learn a thing as soon as he sees it and so will experience no such difficulties. Everything will be created as soon as it enters his mind.

20- EVERYONE IN PARADISE WILL RECEIVE DELIGHT ACCORDING TO HIS FAITH, MORAL VIRTUE AND HOW MUCH WE GUARD FROM EVIL

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (January 20, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Paradise is a blessing created for us, but not everyone who enters it will receive the same delight from it. Pleasure in Paradise will be meted out according to a person’s faith, guarding from evil and moral virtue. For example, there is the food of Paradise. Some people will enjoy normal pleasure from consuming it, which others will enjoy it a great deal more. There are the women of Paradise, for example. Some will take an average pleasure from them and others a lot lot more. Allah will develop and strengthen that power in our souls according to our faith and how much we are guarding from evil, insha’Allah.

21- HUMAN BEAUTY IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S KANAL 35 INTERVIEW (February 1, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: People’s hair is very high quality in Paradise, their eyebrows are very high quality and their eyes are very lovely and expressive. Their skin is very smooth, and they have no bodily needs. They feel no hunger or thirst and no cold in the sense we are familiar with. They have no heart or liver functions in the sense that we understand. In other words, Allah will create people with a whole new system of physical laws.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (January 22, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: If one were to see someone in Paradise one would never again like anyone in this world. That is why Allah does not show Paradise to people, as a blessing; Allah states they cannot see it with the eyes of the world. People will be unimaginably attractive and impressive in Paradise. Men and women, and they will have many bodies, hundreds of bodies. A person will have hundreds of bodies but only one soul. With that body they will go to the market in some place, eat in another place, fly in the vehicles of Paradise, and attain all they desire. Everything there is highly original. The vehicles of Paradise are highly original, as are the aircraft. They have features that will amaze and delight people, and they will all work simply by one’s thinking about it.

ADNAN OKTAR’S KANAL 35 (IZMIR) INTERVIEW (February 21, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: It is Allah Who causes a woman to make herself up, and the women in Paradise will all wear make-up. They will wear natural make-up, and will wear kohl on their eyes, like butterflies or flowers. Their lips will have a perfect appearance, and everything about them will be very attractive, in other words very well-groomed. They will have no need to groom themselves in Paradise, in the Hereafter. That takes up a lot of a woman’s time, as you know. But no such thing will apply there. Because they will grow even more lovely every day. They will see they have grown even lovelier every time they look. But this world is a place of weakness and deficiency. But when a woman dresses up, it is Allah Who dresses her up. Women will realize that. Insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (February 3, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, account says: “The dwellers in Paradise have no hairs on their bodies, have kohl on their eyes and never lose their youth. The dwellers in Paradise are aged between 30 and 33, and will have no beard or body hair.” In other words, people will not have to shave all the time. They will have hair and eyebrows, but not hair that keeps growing all the time and becomes a nuisance. That kind of thing women find really troublesome, since it is created as a deficiency in this world. Allah’s description of women in the Qur’an is “like an egg.” He says their skins will be smooth like an egg, like a pearl. As you know, many people have skin problems in this world, and almost nobody is entirely happy with his or her skin. Nobody’s skin is perfect. But in Paradise people’s skin is perfect, of an immaculate perfection.

22- WILL PEOPLE BE BORED IN PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (February 25, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: One of my brothers asked whether people could ever be bored in Paradise. People are never bored in Paradise because it is an extraordinarily delightful place. It is the home of blessings, where every day is a festival. Every day until the end of time is a festival, a festival of intense joy and delight.

How is it possible for anyone who has attained our Lord’s beauties and mercy, who has earned Allah’s approval and entered His Paradise, and who has everything he wants, to be bored? And everything is created just as you want it at that very moment. Allah constantly changes faces, for instance, so that beauty is always changing. The form of things changes, their smell changes, foods change and whatever you think of becomes a reality at that exact moment. This is a very great blessing. But one of the things that leads believers to properly appreciate the value of Paradise is the fact that they can see Hell. Seeing it and comparing it with Paradise, they will kiss the stones of the Paradise, insha’Allah.

23- PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO ALTER THEIR APPEARANCE INSTANTANEOUSLY IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (January 20, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, in Paradise people will go out to market, come back and encounter their spouses and will say how much more beautiful they have become. Then they will go out and come back and say that their spouses have grown even lovelier. There is a constant increase in beauty in Paradise. A person can adopt whatever face he chooses in Paradise. Any face one likes or thinks is created in his own body. If a person has a spouse, that spouse will appear in thousands of different bodies. If they are husbands and wives, their bodies take the form of thousands of bodies. One’s spouse may appear in different clothing or with different hair styles. Spouses will appear to one another in very different physical forms, but still with the one soul. The same soul takes enjoyment, but in so many different bodies. This is one of the features of Paradise. Someone will speak with our Prophet (saas) while someone else is eating, or sitting with his wife, or traveling using the means available in Paradise, or walking through the streets of Paradise or sitting chatting with relatives. In other words, whatever one wants will happen, insha’Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKİN TV (January 26, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: And a person can assume the appearance he wants. When he sees an attractive type, he can at once assume that appearance, as well. Our Prophet (saas) says there will be pictures of attractive individuals in the streets and on the roads of Paradise, and that people will look at these. And one can assume those forms instantaneously, he says. Because Allah creates them at once in those forms. He says they will appear as images with that external reality.

24- CAN BELIEVERS KNOW THEIR DEGREES IN PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR'S TEMPO TV INTERVIEW (March 31, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: The dwellers in Paradise all imagine themselves to be equal. Were that not so they would suffer, and there is no suffering in Paradise. Knowing that they were different would inflict suffering on them. But that is not the case. Because they will all dwell in the same heavenly environment. They will not know one another’s delights. For example, someone will lie with his wife, and will enjoy that in accordance with his level of how much he guarded from evil. The enjoyment he draws from passion will be very great. Someone who has less faith or taqwa will draw less enjoyment from the same thing, but will be unaware of that. Neither do people know that in this world. For example, everyone who eats meat imagines they all draw the same enjoyment from it. Or someone smelling a rose imagines everyone else enjoys it exactly as much. But they are all different, although unaware of that fact. In the Hereafter, too, people will enjoy different levels of pleasure, though they will remain unaware of that fact.

ADNAN OKTAR’S KANAL 35 TV (IZMIR) INTERVIEW (January 25, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Wise people see the best in everything, and look at everything through the eyes of goodness and wisdom. They are pleasant natured, virtuous, loving and shed light all around them. In other words, they are passionate. The prophets, for instance, have all been passionate people. They experience love most intensely, in a manner stronger than most people can comprehend. They also go to Paradise, and nobody else can know the pleasure they receive. For example, if one person receives 10 units of pleasure, they receive a hundred million. But people cannot know that, and everyone imagine they receive the same measure of delight.

25- MUSIC IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON BASKENT TV (April 24, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR : There is the very finest and loveliest music in Paradise, with music being played whenever and wherever one wants. For example, even if you ask a cat to sing a song for you, it will do so, and quite perfectly. If you say you want to listen to music, any old pitcher will start playing right away. Then if you tell it to fill itself up with a cool drink and bring it to you, it will do that.

PRESENTER : One must not misunderstand the concept of music. Music is not something with words, but like the sound of a flute, for instance.

ADNAN OKTAR : We will hear everything, kinds of music we have never heard before, in Paradise. We will hear intense forms of music, not the violin or flute or clarinet or anything like that, which will really enchant us. We will hear it, hear those notes, for the first time. And we will see colors we have never seen before; that is a feature of Paradise.

26- WHAT KIND OF WINE WILL BE OFFERED TO US IN PARADISE?

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (January 26, 2009)

REPORTER: What kind of wine will we be offered in Paradise?

ADNAN OKTAR: A drink that does not make one dizzy and uncomfortable, that truly delights people to drink, and that is perfect in smell, taste, appearance, effect and everything.

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KON TV (February 8, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course there are cigarettes in Paradise, and also wine; there is drink of all kinds. But not of the kind that harms people. It does not lead to dizziness or an upset stomach. There is wine in Paradise, but it is the wine of Paradise. One can drink all one likes. It neither hurts one, nor upsets the stomach. It does not cause vomiting nor cause one to behave disgracefully nor to lose one’s reason. The Qur’an states this perfectly clearly.

27- THERE IS NO SLEEP IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (January 28, 2009)

TEMPO TV: Does sleep exist in Paradise?

ADNAN OKTAR: No. There is no sleep in Paradise. There is no fatigue, no tiredness in Paradise. One will never be tired until the end of time, nor ever be sleepy for all eternity. Sleep is bestowed as a miracle in this world, meaning that the phenomenon of sleep is a miraculous one. Normally we should be in no need of sleep since we are created as images. That is, we have bodies in the external world, but we exist as images. And there is no reason why an image should have to sleep.

28- THERE WILL BE NO NEGATIVE FEATURES SUCH AS SORROW OR SADNESS IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR’S AKS TV INTERVIEW (April 14, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a wonderful clarity in Paradise, and happiness alone. The individual knows no sorrow, fear, unease or boredom. Since Allah knows what will distress human beings, in the Hereafter He has created no such things in their destiny. In other words, even if people were to look for unhappiness they could not attain it, they would not find it too. People have no such ability. People are entirely freed from such feelings as fatigue, fear, panic, sorrow or doubt. So people will live in such a way as to know happiness alone. Their minds will be very transparent and they will only think positively. There are none of satan’s suggestions there, and since his power has been lifted, our brothers will be at ease and in well-being there. The disappearance of satan’s power is a most important issue. The power of the lower-self also disappears there. The intervention of the lower-self disappears. Because—I take refuge in Allah from satan—Almighty Allah says that lower-self is created as inimical to Him. Have you seen him who has taken his lower-self as his god, asks Almighty Allah. Lower-self is a scourge on human beings. In Paradise the soul is free, that is, unfettered by lower-self. Since satan’s power has been lifted, people will enjoy a wondrous peace, meaning an unimaginable joy and rapture. In other words, two pressures have been lifted; there is no hunger, cold, heat, need for sleep or fatigue. There is no pressure from satan or from lower-self. The elimination of these is like the lifting of a 30-ton weight. Just that alone will make people gloriously happy, and we will be maddened by love of Allah in Paradise. That is the true pleasure we enjoy.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (January 26, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Good moral values are inevitable in Paradise. Almighty Allah says—I take refuge in Allah from satan—“O self at rest and at peace”, that is, the lower self that has been balanced, become rational and normal. He says, “Return to your Lord, well-pleasing and well-pleased! Enter among My slaves!” We will already enter the Paradise with a soul that is at rest and at peace. Allah tells us that if we harbor hatred to anyone, He will take that from us. I take refuge in Allah from Satan, in the verse Allah says, "We will strip away any rancour in their hearts." In other words, we will not know feelings such as anger and hatred. In addition, the preconditions for them will not exist and there will be no environment in which they can exist. Neither will there be any incidents requiring such reactions, and there will be no innate feelings of strife within us.

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KACKAR TV (January 22, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: We will describe everything we do here, but in Paradise a Muslim will be unable to remember anything that might embarrass or disturb a Muslim. It will be totally wiped from his memory and will be unable to bring it to mind no matter what he does. Other people will also be unable to remember it, no matter what they do. In other words, people will be unable to recall things that might embarrass them or make them uneasy. They will only have clear memories of pleasant deeds, of acceptable and lawful behavior. They will be able to recall those in perfect clarity. Furthermore, they will be able to watch them, insha’Allah.

29- THE CLIMATE OF SECURITY IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S KANAL 35 INTERVIEW (February 1, 2009 )

ADNAN OKTAR: You will be able to trust everyone in Paradise. Nobody will tell lies in Paradise. Everyone will be trustworthy. There will be no hypocrisy, no disloyalty or game-playing. They will engage in no corruption or gossip, which means that people will therefore be happy. That is, people will not be happy solely because of their possessions or property in Paradise. They will be happy there because they will see the manifestation of Allah there, because they see proper moral values displayed, because they love everything as the manifestation of Allah.

30- MARKETS AND CITIES IN PARADISE

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON TEMPO TV (February 3, 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR : Yes, there will be bright green cities made of precious stones, of emerald, in Paradise, and these will shine like stars. In other words, building materials in Paradise will not be limited to those forty materials in this world, to concrete and that kind of thing. There are materials that can hypnotize people there, but these will again form as an image. There will be their originals in the exterior world but their images will be in our brains. Human beings have a predisposition to like bright, precious stones and in high-quality arrangements. This will be fully available in Paradise, and human beings’ souls will be fully satisfied, insha’Allah.

SIGNS TO DISOBEDIENCE AND REBELLION IN QUR'AN

We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate to Adam!’ and they prostrated, with the exception of Satan. He refused and was arrogant and was one of the unbelievers. (Surat Al-Baqara, 34)

When they are told, ‘Do not cause corruption on the earth,’ they say, ‘We are only putting things right.’ (Surat Al-Baqara, 11)

No indeed! They are the corrupters, but they are not aware of it. (Surat Al-Baqara, 12)

Those who break Allah’s contract after it has been agreed, and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined, and cause corruption on the earth, it is they who are the lost. (Surat Al-Baqara, 27)

And when you said, ‘Moses, we will not put up with just one kind of food so ask your Lord to supply to us some of what the earth produces – its green vegetables, cucumbers, grains, lentils and onions,’ he said, ‘Do you want to replace what is better with what is inferior? Go back to Egypt, then you will have what you are asking for.’ Abasement and destitution were stamped upon them. They brought down anger from Allah upon themselves. That was because they rejected Allah’s Signs and killed the Prophets without any right to do so. That was because they rebelled and went beyond the limits. (Surat Al-Baqara, 61)

You are well aware of those of you who broke the Sabbath. We said to them, ‘Be apes, despised, cast out.’ (Surat Al-Baqara, 65)

We made it an exemplary punishment for those there then, and those coming afterwards, and a warning to those who have fear of Allah. (Surat Al-Baqara, 66)

Do you really hope they will follow you in belief when a group of them heard Allah’s Word and then, after grasping it, knowingly distorted it? (Surat Al-Baqara, 75)

When they meet those who have belief in Allah, they say, ‘We have belief in Allah.’ But when they go apart with one another, they say, ‘Why do you speak to them about what Allah has disclosed to you, so they can use it as an argument against you before your Lord? Will you not use your intellect?’ (Surat Al-Baqara, 76)

Remember when We made a covenant with the tribe of Israel: ‘Worship none but Allah and be good to your parents and to relatives and orphans and the very poor. And speak good words to people. And establish daily prayer and give alm.’ But then you turned away – except a few of you – you turned aside. (Surat Al-Baqara, 83)

Then you are the people who are killing one another and expelling a group among you from their homes, ganging up against them in wrongdoing and enmity. Yet if they are brought to you as captives, you ransom them, when it was forbidden for you to expel them in the first place! Do you, then, believe in one part of the Book and reject the other? What repayment will there be for any of you who do that except disgrace in this world? And on the Day of Rising, they will be returned to the harshest of punishments. Allah is not unaware of what you do. (Surat Al-Baqara, 85)

We gave Moses the Book and sent a succession of Messengers after him. We gave ‘Jesus, son of Maryam, the Clear Signs and reinforced him with the Purest Soul. Why then, whenever a Messenger came to you with something your lower selves did not desire, did you grow arrogant, and deny some of them and murder others? (Surat Al-Baqara, 87)

What an evil thing they have sold themselves for in rejecting what Allah has sent down, outraged that Allah should send down His favour on whichever of His slaves He wills. They have brought down anger upon anger on themselves. The unbelievers will have a humiliating punishment. (Surat Al-Baqara, 90)

When they are told, ‘Believe in what Allah has sent down,’ they say, ‘Our belief is in what was sent down to us,’ and they reject anything beyond that, even though it is the truth, confirming what they have. Say, ‘Why then, if you are believers, did you previously kill the Prophets of Allah?’ (Surat Al-Baqara, 91)

Remember when We made a covenant with you and lifted up the Mount above your heads: ‘Take hold vigorously of what We have given you and listen.’ They said, ‘We hear and disobey.’ They were made to drink the Calf into their hearts because of their disbelief. Say, ‘If you are believers, what an evil thing your belief has made you do.’ (Surat Al-Baqara, 93)

Or do you want to question your Messenger as Moses was questioned before? Anyone who exchanges belief for disbelief has definitely gone astray from the level way. (Surat Al-Baqara, 108)

When they are told, ‘Follow what Allah has sent down to you,’ They say, ‘We are following what we found our fathers doing.’ What, even though their fathers did not understand a thing and were not guided! (Surat Al-Baqara, 170)

When he leaves you, he goes about the earth corrupting it, destroying crops and animals. Allah does not love corruption. (Surat Al-Baqara, 205)

When he is told to have fear of Allah, he is seized by pride which drives him to wrongdoing. Hell will be enough for him! What an evil resting-place! (Surat Al-Baqara, 206)

They will ask you about the Sacred Month and fighting in it. Say, ‘Fighting in it is a serious matter; but barring access to the Way of Allah and rejecting Him and barring access to the Masjid al-Unlawful and expelling its people from it are far more serious in the sight of Allah. Corruption is worse than killing.’ They will not stop fighting you until they make you revert from your religion, if they are able. As for any of you who revert from their deen and die as unbeliever, their actions will come to nothing in the world and the Hereafter. They are the Companions of the Fire, remaining in it timelessly, for ever. (Surat Al-Baqara, 217)

The religion with Allah is Islam. Those given the Book only differed after knowledge had come to them, envying one another. As for those who reject Allah’s Signs, Allah is swift at reckoning. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 19)

They will be plunged into abasement wherever they are found, unless they have a treaty with Allah and with the people. They have brought down anger from Allah upon themselves, and they have been plunged into destitution. That was because they rejected Allah’s Signs and killed the Prophets without any right to do so. That was because they disobeyed and went beyond the limits. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 112)

And so that He would know the hypocrites. They were told, ‘Come and fight in the Way of Allah or at least help defend us.’ They said, ‘If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you.’ They were closer to disbelief that day than to belief, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah knows best what they are hiding. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 167)

As for those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and overstep His limits, We will admit them into a Fire, remaining in it timelessly, for ever. They will have a humiliating punishment. (Surat An-Nisa’, 14)

On that day those who were unbelievers and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that they were one with the level earth. They will not be able to hide a single circumstance from Allah. (Surat An-Nisa’, 42)

Some of the Jews distort the true meaning of words, saying,‘We hear and disobey,’ and ‘Listen without listening,’ and ‘Ra’ina!’ twisting them with their tongues, disparaging the religion. If they had said, ‘We hear and we obey,’ and ‘Listen,’ and, ‘Undhurna!’ that would have been better for them and more upright. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief. Very few of them have belief. (Surat An-Nisa’, 46)

When they are told, ‘Come to what Allah has sent down and to the Messenger,’ you see the munafiqun turning away from you completely. (Surat An-Nisa’, 61)

We sent no Messenger except to be obeyed by Allah’s permission. If only when they wronged themselves they had come to you and asked Allah’s forgiveness and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them they would have found Allah Ever-Returning, Most Merciful. (Surat An-Nisa’, 64)

No, by your Lord, they are not believers until they make you their judge in the disputes that break out between them, and then find no resistance within themselves to what you decide and submit themselves completely. (Surat An-Nisa’, 65)

If We had directed them to kill themselves or leave their homes, they would not have done so, except for a very few. But if they had done what they were urged to do, it would have been better for them and far more strengthening. (Surat An-Nisa’, 66)

They have the word, ‘Obedience!’ on their tongues but when they leave your presence, a group of them spend the night plotting to do other than what you say. Allah is recording their nocturnal plotting. So let them be and put your trust in Allah. Allah suffices as a Guardian. (Surat An-Nisa’, 81)

But if anyone opposes the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him, and follows other than the path of the believers, We will hand him over to whatever he has turned to, and We will roast him in Hell. What an evil destination! (Surat An-Nisa’, 115)

The People of the Book will ask you to bring down a Book from heaven to them. They asked Moses for even more than that. They said, ‘Let us see Allah with our own eyes.’ So the lightning-bolt struck them down for their wrongdoing. Then they adopted the Calf after the Clear Signs had come to them, but We pardoned them for that and gave Moses clear authority. (Surat An-Nisa’, 153)

We lifted up the Mount above their heads in accordance with the covenant they had made, and We said to them, ‘Enter the gate prostrating,’ and We said to them, ‘Do not break the Sabbath,’ and We made a binding covenant with them. (Surat An-Nisa’, 154)

But because of their breaking of their covenant, We have cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort the true meaning of words and have forgotten a good portion of what they were reminded of. You will never cease to come upon some act of treachery on their part, except for a few of them. Yet pardon them, and overlook. Allah loves good-doers. (Surat Al-Ma’ida, 13)

They said, ‘We will never enter it, Moses, as long as they are there. So you and your Lord go and fight. We will stay sitting here.’ (Surat Al-Ma’ida, 24)

He said, ‘My Lord, I have no control over anyone but myself and my brother, so make a clear distinction between us and this deviant people.’ (Surat Al-Ma’ida, 25)

We created you and then formed you and then We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate before Adam,’ and they prostrated – except for Satan. He was not among those who prostrated. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 11)

He said, ‘What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you to?’ He replied, ‘I am better than him. You created me from fire and You created him from clay.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 12)

He said, ‘Descend from Heaven. It is not for you to be arrogant in it. So get out! You are one of the abased.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 13)

He said, ‘Grant me a reprieve until the day they are raised up.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 14)

He said, ‘You are one of the reprieved.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 15)

He said, ‘By Your misguidance of me, I will lie in ambush for them on your straight path. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 16)

Then I will come at them, from infront of them and behind them, from their right and from their left. You will not find most of them thankful. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 17)

He said, ‘Get out of it, reviled and driven out. As for those of them who follow you, I will fill up Hell with every one of you.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 18)

So he enticed them to do it by means of trickery. Then when they tasted the tree, their private parts were disclosed to them and they started stitching together the leaves of the Garden in order to cover themselves. Their Lord called out to them,‘Did I not forbid you this tree and say to you, “Satan is an outright enemy to you”? (Surat Al-A‘raf, 22)

The ruling circle of those of his people who were arrogant said, ‘We will drive you out of our city, Shu‘ayb, you and those who have iman along with you, unless you return to our religion.’ He said, ‘What, even though we detest it? (Surat Al-A‘raf, 88)

The ruling circle of those of his people who were unbelievers said, ‘If you follow Shu‘ayb, you will definitely be lost.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 90)

So he turned away from them and said, ‘My people, I transmitted My Lord’s message to you and gave you good counsel. Why should I grieve for people of disbelief?’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 93)

We did not find many of them worthy of their contract. We found most of them deviators. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 102)

And then, after them, We sent Moses with Our Signs to Pharaoh and his ruling circle but they wrongfully rejected them. See the final fate of the corrupters! (Surat Al-A‘raf, 103)

They said, ‘We suffered harm before you came to us and after you came to us.’ He said, ‘It may well be that your Lord is going to destroy your enemy and make you the successors in the land so that He can see how you behave.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 129)

I will divert from My Signs all those who are arrogant in the earth without any right. If they see every Sign, they will not believe in it. If they see the way of right guidance, they will not take it as a way. But if they see the way of error, they will take that as a way. That is because they denied Our Signs and paid no attention to them. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 146)

We conveyed the tribe of Israel across the sea and they came upon some people who were devoting themselves to some idols which they had. They said, ‘Moses, give us a god just as these people have gods.’ He said, ‘You are indeed an ignorant people. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 138)

What these people are doing is destined for destruction. What they are doing is purposeless.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 139)

He said, ‘Should I seek something other than Allah as a god for you when He has favoured you over all other beings?’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 140)

After he left, Moses’s people adopted a calf made from their ornaments, a form which made a lowing sound. Did they not see that it could not speak to them or guide them to any way? They adopted it and so they were wrongdoers. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 148)

When Moses returned to his people in anger and great sorrow, he said, ‘What an evil thing you did in my absence after I left! Did you want to hasten your Lord’s command?’ He threw down the Tablets and seized hold of his brother’s head, dragging him towards him. Harun said, ‘Son of my mother, The people oppressed me and almost killed me. Do not give my enemies cause to gloat over me. Do not include me with the wrongdoing people.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 150)

Those who follow the Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Gospel, commanding them to do right and forbidding them to do wrong, making good things lawful for them and bad things unlawful for them, relieving them of their heavy loads and the chains which were around them. Those who believe in him and honour him and help him, and follow the Light that has been sent down with him, they are the ones who are successful.’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 157)

Ask them about the town which was by the sea when they broke the Sabbath – when their fish came to them near the surface on their Sabbath day but did not come on the days which were not their Sabbath. In this way We put them to the test because they were deviators. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 163)

When they were insolent about what they had been forbidden to do, We said to them, ‘Be apes, despised, cast out!’ (Surat Al-A‘raf, 166)

Then your Lord announced that He would send against them until the Day of Rising people who would inflict an evil punishment on them. Your Lord is Swift in Retribution. And He is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 167)

And We divided them into nations in the earth. Some of them are rightious and some are other than that. We tried them with good and evil so that hopefully they would return. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 168)

Those who are in the presence of your Lord do not consider themselves too great to worship Him. They glorify His praise and they prostrate to Him. (Surat Al-A‘raf, 206)

Just as your Lord brought you out from your house with truth, even though a group of the believers disliked it. (Surat Al-Anfal, 5)

Arguing with you about the Truth after it had been made clear as though they were being driven to their death with open eyes. (Surat Al-Anfal, 6)

And when your Lord revealed to the angels, ‘I am with you so make those who believe, firm. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who are unbelievers, so strike their necks and strike all their finger joints!’ (Surat Al-Anfal, 12)

This was because they were hostile to Allah and His Messenger. If anyone is hostile to Allah and His Messenger, Allah is severe in retribution. (Surat Al-Anfal, 13)

That is your reward, so taste it. The unbelievers will also have the punishment of the Fire. (Surat Al-Anfal, 14)

You who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger. And do not turn away from Him when you are able to hear. (Surat Al-Anfal, 20)

Do not be like those who say, ‘We hear,’ when they do not hear. (Surat Al-Anfal, 21)

The worst of beasts in Allah’s sight are the deaf and dumb who have no intellect. (Surat Al-Anfal, 22)

If Allah knew of any good in them, He would have made them able to hear. But even if He had made them able to hear, they would still have turned away. (Surat Al-Anfal, 23)

You who believe! respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to what will bring you to life! Know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that you will be gathered to Him. (Surat Al-Anfal, 24)

You who believe! do not betray Allah and His Messenger, and do not knowingly betray your trusts. (Surat Al-Anfal, 27)

Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel among yourselves lest you lose heart and your momentum disappear. And be steadfast. Allah is with the steadfast. (Surat Al-Anfal, 46)

Say: ‘If your fathers or your sons or your brothers or your wives or your tribe, or any wealth you have acquired, or any business you fear may slump, or any house which pleases you, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and struggle in His Way, then wait until Allah brings about His command. Allah does not guide people who are deviators.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 24)

You who believe! What is the matter with you that when you are told, ‘Go out and fight in the way of Allah,’ you sink down heavily to the earth? Are you happier with the earth than the Hereafter? Yet the enjoyment of the earth is very small compared to that of the Hereafter. (Surat At-Tawba, 38)

If you do not go out to fight, He will punish you with a painful punishment and substitute another people in your place. You will not harm Him in any way. Allah has power over all things. (Surat At-Tawba, 39)

If it had been a case of easy gains and a short journey, they would have followed you, but the distance was too great for them. They will swear by Allah: ‘Had we been able to, we would have gone out with you.’ They are destroying their own selves. Allah knows that they are lying. (Surat At-Tawba, 42)

Nothing prevents what they give from being accepted from them but the fact that they have rejected Allah and His Messenger, and that they only come to perform prayer lethargically, and that they only give reluctantly. (Surat At-Tawba, 54)

If only they had been pleased with what Allah and His Messenger had given them and had said, ‘Allah is enough for us. Allah will give us of His bounty as will His Messenger. It is to Allah that we make our plea.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 59)

Among them are some who insult the Prophet, saying he is only an ear. Say, ‘An ear of good for you, believing in Allah and believing in the believers, and a mercy for those among you who believe.’ As for those who insult the Messenger of Allah, they will have a painful punishment. (Surat At-Tawba, 61)

They swear to you by Allah in order to please you, but it would be more fitting for them to please Allah and His Messenger if they are believers. (Surat At-Tawba, 62)

Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, will have the Fire of Hell, remaining in it timelessly, for ever? That is the great disgrace. (Surat At-Tawba, 63)

If you ask them they will say, ‘We were only joking and playing around.’ Say: ‘Would you make a mockery of Allah and of His Signs and of His Messenger? (Surat At-Tawba, 65)

Do not try to excuse yourselves. You have become unbelievers after having belief. If one group of you is pardoned, another group will be punished for being evildoers.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 66)

The men and women of the believers are friends of one another. They command what is right and forbid what is wrong, and establish performing prayer and give alm, and obey Allah and His Messenger. They are the people on whom Allah will have mercy. Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (Surat At-Tawba, 71)

O Prophet, struggle against the unbelievers and hypocrites and be harsh with them. Their shelter will be Hell. What an evil destination! (Surat At-Tawba, 73)

So He has punished them by putting hypocrisy in their hearts until the day they meet Him because they failed Allah in what they promised Him and because they lied. (Surat At-Tawba, 77)

You can ask forgiveness for them, or not ask forgiveness for them. Even if you asked forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah still would not forgive them. That is because they have rejected Allah and His Messenger. Allah does not guide deviant people. (Surat At-Tawba, 80)

Those who were left behind were glad to stay behind the Messenger of Allah. They did not want to struggle with their wealth and themselves in the Way of Allah. They said, ‘Do not go out to fight in the heat.’ Say: ‘The Fire of Hell is much hotter, if they only understood.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 81)

Let them laugh little and weep much, in repayment for what they have earned. (Surat At-Tawba, 82)

If Allah returns you to a group of them, and they ask you for permission to go out, say, ‘You will never go out with me, nor will you ever fight an enemy with me. You were happy to stay behind the first time, so stay behind with those who are left behind.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 83)

Never pray over any of them who die or stand at their graves. They rejected Allah and His Messenger and died as deviators. (Surat At-Tawba, 84)

There are only grounds against those who ask you for permission to stay when they are rich. They were pleased to be among those who were left behind. Allah has sealed up their hearts so they do not know. (Surat At-Tawba, 93)

They will make excuses to you when you return to them. Say: ‘Do not make excuses, we will not believe you. Allah has already informed us about you. Allah will see your actions, as will His Messenger. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, and He will inform you regarding what you did.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 94)

They will swear to you by Allah when you return to them, so that you leave them alone. Leave them alone, then! They are filth. Their shelter will be Hell as repayment for what they did. (Surat At-Tawba, 95)

As for those who have set up a mosque, causing harm and out of disbelief, to create division between the believers, and in readiness for those who previously made war on Allah and His Messenger, they will swear, ‘We only desired the best.’ But Allah bears witness that they are truly liars. (Surat At-Tawba, 107)

The buildings they have built will not cease to be a bone of contention in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to shreds. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Surat At-Tawba, 110)

Allah has turned towards the Prophet, and the Muhajirun and the Ansar, those who followed him at the ‘time of difficulty’, after the hearts of a group of them had almost deviated. Then He turned towards them – He is All-Gentle, Most Merciful to them – (Surat At-Tawba, 117)

But if they turn away, say, ‘Allah is enough for me. There is no god but Him. I have put my trust in Him. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.’ (Surat At-Tawba, 129)

No, the fact is that they have denied something which their knowledge does not embrace and the meaning of which has not yet reached them. In the same way those before them also denied the truth. See the final fate of the wrongdoers! (Surah Yunus, 39)

Among them there are some who believe in it and some who do not. Your Lord best knows the corrupters. (Surah Yunus, 40)

If they deny you, say, ‘I have my actions and you have your actions. You are not responsible for what I do and I am not responsible for what you do.’ (Surah Yunus, 41)

Among them there are some who listen to you. But can you make the deaf hear even though they cannot understand? (Surah Yunus, 42)

Among them there are some who look at you. But can you guide the blind, even though they cannot see? (Surah Yunus, 43)

No one believed in Moses except for a few of his peoples youth out of fear that Pharaoh, and the elders, would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was one of the profligate. (Surah Yunus, 83)

The ruling circle of those of his people who were unbelievers said, ‘We do not see you as anything but a human being like ourselves. We do not see anyone following you but the lowest of us, unthinkingly. We do not see you as superior to us. On the contrary, we consider you to be liars. (Surah Hud, 27)

He said, ‘My people! What do you think? If I were to have clear evidence from my Lord and He had given me a mercy direct from Him, but you were blind to it, could we force it on you if you were unwilling? (Surah Hud, 28)

They said, ‘Noah, you have argued with us and argued much so bring us what you have promised us if you are telling the truth.’ (Surah Hud, 32)

It sailed with them through mountainous waves, and Noah called out to his son, who had kept himself apart, ‘My son! Come on board with us. Do not stay with the unbelievers!’ (Surah Hud, 42)

He said, ‘I will take refuge on a mountain; It will protect me from the flood.’ He said, ‘There is no protection from Allah’s command today except for those He has mercy on.’ The waves surged in between them and he was among the drowned. (Surah Hud, 43)

They said, ‘Hud, you have not brought us any clear sign. We will not forsake our gods for what you say. We do not believe you. (Surah Hud, 53)

That was ‘Ad. They denied the Signs of their Lord and disobeyed His Messengers and followed the command of every obdurate tyrant. (Surah Hud, 59)

They said, ‘Salih, we had great hopes in you before this happened. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped? We have grave doubts about what you are calling us to.’ (Surah Hud, 62)

My people! Here is the she-camel of Allah as a Sign for you. So leave her alone to eat on Allah’s earth and do not inflict any harm on her or you will be overcome by an imminent punishment.’ (Surah Hud, 64)

But they hamstrung her, so he said, ‘Enjoy yourselves in your land for three more days. That is a promise which will not be belied.’ (Surah Hud, 65)

My people! Do not let your breach with me provoke you into doing wrong so that the same thing happens to you as happened to the people of Noah and the people of Hud and the people of Salih; and the people of Lut are not far distant from you. (Surah Hud, 89)

They said, ‘Shu‘ayb, We do not understand much of what you say and we see you are weak among us. Were it not for your clan, we would have stoned you. We do not hold you in high esteem!’ (Surah Hud, 91)

When your Lord said to the angels, ‘I am creating a human being out of dried clay formed from fetid black mud. (Surat Al-Hijr, 28)

When I have formed him and breathed My Soul into him, fall down in prostration in front of him!’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 29)

Then the angels prostrated all together, every one of them –(Surat Al-Hijr, 30)

Except Satan. He disdained to be one of the prostrators. –(Surat Al-Hijr, 31)

He said, ‘Satan, what is it that prevents you being among the prostrators?’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 32)

He said, ‘I will not prostrate to a human being whom You have created out of dried clay formed from fetid black mud.’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 33)

He said, ‘Get out from here, you are accursed. (Surat Al-Hijr, 34)

The curse will be on you till the Day of Reckoning.’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 35)

He said, ‘My Lord, grant me a reprieve until the Day they are raised again.’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 36)

He said, ‘You are among the reprieved. (Surat Al-Hijr, 37)

Until the Day whose time is known.’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 38)

He said, ‘My Lord, because You misled me, I will make things on the earth seem good to them and I will mislead them all, every one of them, (Surat Al-Hijr, 39)

He said, ‘These are my guests so do not put me to shame. (Surat Al-Hijr, 68)

Have fear of Allah and do not dishonour me.’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 69)

They said, ‘Did we not forbid you to play host to anyone at all?’ (Surat Al-Hijr, 70)

With the exception of the family of Lut, all of whom We will sav. (Surat Al-Hijr, 59)

When We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate yourselves to Adam!’ they prostrated, except for Satan. He said ‘What! Am I to prostrate to one You have created out of clay?’ (Surat Al-Isra’, 61)

He said, ‘Do you see this creature you have honoured over me? If You reprieve me till the Day of Rising, I will be the master of his descendants except for a very few.’ (Surat Al-Isra’, 62)

When We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate yourselves to Adam,’ they prostrated with the exception of Satan. He was one of the jinn and wantonly deviated from his Lord’s command. Do you take him and his offspring as protectors apart from Me when they are your enemy? How evil is the exchange the wrongdoers make! (Surat Al-Kahf, 50)

Father, do not worship Satan. Satan was disobedient to the All-Merciful. (Surah Maryam, 44)

He said, ‘We tried your people after you left and the Samaritan has misguided them.’ (Surah Ta Ha, 85)

Moses returned to his people in anger and great sorrow. He said, ‘My people, did not your Lord make you a handsome promise? Did the fulfilment of the contract seem too long to you or did you want to unleash your Lord’s anger upon yourselves, so you broke your promise to me?’ (Surah Ta Ha, 86)

They said, ‘We did not break our promise to you of our own volition. But we were weighed down with the heavy loads of the people’s jewelry and we threw them in, for that is what the Samaritan did.’ (Surah Ta Ha, 87)

Then he produced a calf for them, a physical form which made a lowing sound. So they said, ‘This is your god – and Moses’s god as well, but he forgot.’ (Surah Ta Ha, 88)

Could they not see that it did not reply to them and that it possessed no power to either harm or benefit them? ’ (Surah Ta Ha, 89)

Harun had earlier said to them, ‘My people! It is just a trial for you. Your Lord is the All-Merciful, so follow me and obey my command!’ (Surah Ta Ha, 90)

They said, ‘We will not stop devoting ourselves to it until Moses returns to us.’ (Surah Ta Ha, 91)

He said, ‘What prevented you following me, Harun, when you saw that they had gone astray? (Surah Ta Ha, 92)

Did you too, then, disobey my command?’ (Surah Ta Ha, 93)

He said, ‘Son of my mother! Do not seize me by the beard or by the hair. I was afraid that you would say, “You have caused division in the tribe of Israel and taken no notice to anything I said.”’ (Surah Ta Ha, 94)

He said, ‘What do you think you were doing, Samaritan?’ (Surah Ta Ha, 95)

He said, ‘I saw what they did not see. So I gathered up a handful from the Messenger’s footprints and threw it in. That is what my inner self urged me to do.’ (Surah Ta Ha, 96)

But Satan whispered to him, saying, ‘Adam, shall I show you the way to the Tree of Everlasting Life and to a kingdom which will never fade away?’ (Surah Ta Ha, 120)

So the two of them ate from it and their private parts were disclosed to them and they started stitching together the leaves of the Garden to cover themselves. Adam disobeyed his Lord and became misled. (Surah Ta Ha, 121)

You are nothing but a human being like ourselves, so produce a Sign if you are telling the truth.’ (Surat Ash-Shu‘ara’, 154)

He said, ‘Here is a she-camel. She has a time for drinking and you have a time for drinking – on specified days. (Surat Ash-Shu‘ara’, 155)

Do not do anything to harm her or the punishment of a terrible day will come down on you.’ (Surat Ash-Shu‘ara’, 156)

But they hamstrung her and woke up full of remorse, (Surat Ash-Shu‘ara’, 157)

If they disobey you, say, ‘I am free of what you do.’ (Surat Ash-Shu‘ara’, 216)

If they had been overrun from every side, and had then been asked to revert to disbelief, they would have done so and hesitated very little about it. (Surat Al-Ahzab, 14)

If the hypocrites and those with sickness in their hearts and the rumour-mongers in Madina do not desist, We will set you onto them. Then they will only be your neighbours there a very short time. (Surat Al-Ahzab, 60)

We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets. (Surat As-Saffat, 6)
And guarded it against every defiant satan. (Surat As-Saffat, 7)

Say: ‘I fear, were I to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a Terrible Day.’ (Surat Az-Zumar, 13)

Were it not that mankind might all become one community, We would have given those who reject the All-Merciful silver roofs to their houses and silver stairways to ascend. (Surat Az-Zukhruf, 33)

Those who are unbelievers and obstruct the Way of Allah and are entrenched in hostility towards the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, do not harm Allah in any way and He makes their actions come to nothing. (Surah Muhammad, 32)

Whoever does not believe in Allah and His Messenger – We have prepared a Blazing Fire for the unbelievers. (Surat Al-Fath, 13)

You who believe! do not put yourselves forward in front of Allah and of His Messenger; and have fear of Allah. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surat Al-Hujurat, 1)

You who believe! do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet and do not be as loud when speaking to him as you are when speaking to one another, lest your actions should come to nothing without your realising it. (Surat Al-Hujurat, 2)

Know that the Messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to obey you in many things, you would suffer for it. However, Allah has given you love of iman and made it pleasing to your hearts, and has made kufr, deviance and disobedience hateful to you.People such as these are rightly guided. (Surat Al-Hujurat, 7)

Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be subdued and overcome as those before them were also subdued and overcome. We have sent down Clear Signs. The unbelievers will have a humiliating punishment. (Surat Al-Mujadala, 5)

Do you not see those who were forbidden to confer together secretly returning to the very thing they were forbidden to do, and conferring together secretly in wrongdoing and enmity and disobedience to the Messenger? And when they come to you they greet you with words Allah has never used in greeting you, and say to themselves ‘Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?’Hell will be enough for them! They will roast in it. What an evil destination! (Surat Al-Mujadala, 8)

You who believe! when you confer together secretly,do not do so in wrongdoing and enmity and disobedience to the Messenger; rather confer together in goodness and fear of Allah. Have fear of Allah – Him to Whom you will be gathered. (Surat Al-Mujadala, 9)

Conferring in secret is from Satan, to cause grief to those who beieve; but it cannot harm them at all, unless by Allah’s permission. So let the believers put their trust in Allah. (Surat Al-Mujadala, 10)

Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, such people will be among the most abased. (Surat Al-Mujadala, 20)

You will not find people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having love for anyone who opposes Allah and His Messenger, though they be their fathers, their sons, their brothers or their clan. Allah has inscribed belief upon such people’s hearts and will reinforce them with a Soul from Him and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing under them, remaining in them timelessly, for ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. Such people are the party of Allah. Truly it is the party of Allah who are successful. (Surat Al-Mujadala, 22)

That is because they were entrenched in hostility towards Allah and His Messenger. If anyone is hostile towards Allah, Allah is Severe in Retribution. (Surat Al-Hashr , 4)

Remember when Moses said to his people, ‘My people, why do you mistreat me when you know that I am the Messenger of Allah to you? ’So when they deviated, Allah made their hearts deviate. Allah does not guide people who are deviators. (Surat As-Saff, 5)

You who believe! Shall I direct you to a transaction which will save you from a painful punishment? (Surat As-Saff, 10)

They will say, ‘Yes indeed, a warner did come to us but we denied him and said, “Allah has sent nothing down. You are just greatly misguided.”’ (Surat Al-Mulk , 9)

They will say, ‘If only we had really listened and used our intellect, we would not have been Companions of the Blaze.’ (Surat Al-Mulk , 10)

Pharaoh and those before him and the Overturned Cities made a great mistake. (Surat Al-Haqqa, 9)

They disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord so He seized them in an ever-tightening grip. (Surat Al-Haqqa, 10)

Noah said, ‘My Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children have only increased them in loss. (Surah Nuh, 21)

They have hatched a mighty plot. (Surah Nuh, 22)

Saying, “Do not abandon your gods. Do not abandon Wadd or Suwa‘ or Yaghuth or Ya‘uq or Nasr. (Surah Nuh, 23)

They have misguided many people. Do not increase the wrongdoers in anything but misguidance!’ (Surah Nuh, 24)

Then he showed him the Great Sign. (Surat An-Nazi‘at, 20)

But he denied it and disobeyed, (Surat An-Nazi‘at, 21)

And then he hastily backed away. (Surat An-Nazi‘at, 22)

But then he rallied and called out, (Surat An-Nazi‘at, 23)

Saying, ‘I am your Lord Most High!’ (Surat An-Nazi‘at, 24)

When Our Signs are recited to him, he says, ‘Just myths and legends of the previous peoples!’ (Surat Al-Mutaffifin, 13)

What is the matter with them that they do not believe. (Surat Al-Inshiqaq, 20)

And, when the Qur’an is recited to them, do not prostrate? (Surat Al-Inshiqaq, 21)

In fact those who are unbelievers say that it is lies. (Surat Al-Inshiqaq, 22)

And the Messenger of Allah had said to them, ‘This is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink!’ (Surat Ash-Shams, 13)

But they denied him and they hamstrung her, so their Lord crushed them for their sin and flattened them. (Surat Ash-Shams, 14)

QUR’AN IS REVEALED FROM THE SIGHT OF ALLAH:

That is because Allah has sent down the Book with truth and those who differ from the Book are entrenched in hostility. (Surat al-Baqara, 176)

He has sent down the Book to you with truth.... (Surah Al 'Imran, 3)

Mankind! A clear proof has come to you from your Lord. We have sent down a Clear Light to you. As for those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into mercy and favor from Him and will guide them to Him on a straight path. (Surat an-Nisa, 174-175)

And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy. (Surat al- Al-An'am, 155)

Follow what has been sent down to you from your Lord and do not follow any protectors apart from Him. How little you remember! (Surat al-A’raf, 3)

Alif Lam Mim Ra. Those are the signs of the Book. And what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the Truth. But most people have no belief. (Surat ar-Ra’d, 1)

It is We Who have sent down the Reminder and We Who will preserve it. (Surat al-Hijr, 9)

We have sent it down with truth and with truth it has come down. We only sent you to bring good news and to give warning. (Surat al-Isra', 105)

Praise belongs to Allah Who has sent down the Book to His servant and has put no crookedness in it. (Surat al-Kahf, 1)

In this way We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an and We have made various threats in it so that hopefully they will guard against evil or it will spur them into remembrance. (Surah Ta Ha, 113)

We have sent down to you a Book containing your Reminder. So will you not use your intellect? (Surat al-Anbiya', 10)

We have sent down clear signs to you and the example of those who passed away before you and an admonition for those who guard against evil. (Surat an-Nur, 34)

We have sent down signs making things clear. Allah guides whoever He wills to a straight path. (Surat an-Nur, 46)

Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them? There is certainly a mercy and reminder in that for people who believe. (Surat al-'Ankabut, 51)

We have sent down the Book to you with the truth so that you can judge between people according to what Allah has shown to you. But do not be an advocate for the treacherous. (Surat an- Nisa', 105)

It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. (Surah Ya Sin, 5)

“Am I to desire someone other than Allah as a judge when it is He Who has sent down the Book to you clarifying everything?” Those We have given the Book know it has been sent down from your Lord with truth, so on no account be among the doubters. (Surat al-An'am, 114)

Those who have been given knowledge see that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides to the Path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. (Surah Saba', 6)

We have conveyed the Word to them so that hopefully they will pay heed. Those to whom We sent the Book before this,- they do believe in this (revelation). And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims (bowing to Allah’s Will) from before this. (Surat al-Qasas, 51-53)

Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs. And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. (Surat-ash-Shu'ara', 192-199)

That this is indeed a Qur’an Most Honourable, In Book well-guarded. Which none shall touch but those who are clean: A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. (Surat al-Waqi'a, 77-80)

We have sent you with the Truth, bringing good news and giving warning. Do not ask about the inhabitants of the Blazing Fire. (Surat al-Baqara, 119)

Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? (Surat al-Jathiyya, 6)

And (it is) so that those who have been given knowledge will know it is the truth from their Lord and believe in it and their hearts will be humbled to Him. Allah guides those who believe to a straight path. (Surat al-Hajj, 54)

THE QURAN IS A LIGHT OF ALLAH, A GUIDE, MERCY AND HEALING

... Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My blessing upon you and I am pleased with Islam as a religion for you.... (Surat al-Ma’ida, 3)

That is the Book, without any doubt. It contains guidance for those who guard against evil. (Surat al-Baqara, 2)

This is a clear explanation for all mankind, and guidance and admonition for those who guard against evil. (Surah Al 'Imran, 138)

People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of the Book that you have kept concealed, and passing over a lot. A Light has come to you from Allah and a Clear Book. By it, Allah guides those who follow what pleases Him to the ways of Peace. He will bring them from the darkness to the light by His permission, and guide them to a straight path. (Surat al-Ma’ida, 15-16)

Accordingly We have revealed to you a Spirit by Our command. You had no idea of what the Book was, nor faith. Nonetheless We have made it a Light by which We guide those of Our servants We will. Truly you are guiding to a Straight Path. (Surat ash-Shura, 52)

We have brought them a Book elucidating everything with knowledge, as guidance and a mercy for people who believe. (Surat al-A’raf, 52)

Mankind! Admonition has come to you from your Lord and also healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers. (Surah Yunus, 57)

Alif Lam Ra. This is a Book We have sent down to you so that you can bring mankind from the darkness to the light, by the permission of their Lord, to the Path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. (Surah Ibrahim, 1)

On that Day We will raise up among every community a witness against them from amongst themselves, and bring you as a witness against them. We have sent down the Book to you making all things clear and as guidance and mercy and good news for the Muslims. (Surat an-Nahl, 89)

We send down in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss. (Surat al-Isra', 82)

Certainly it is guidance and a mercy for the believers. (Aurat an-Naml, 77)

Accordingly We have revealed to you a Spirit by Our command. You had no idea of what the Book was, nor faith. Nonetheless We have made it a Light by which We guide those of Our servants We will. Truly you are guiding to a Straight Path. (Surat ash-Shu’ra, 52)

This is guidance. And those who reject the Signs of their Lord will have a punishment of agonizing pain. (Surat al-Jathiyya, 11)

But it is nothing less than a Reminder to all the worlds. (Surat al-Qalam, 52)

It (the Qur'an) is a reminder for the heedful.. (Surat al-Haqqa, 48)

But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. (Surat al-Haqqa, 51)

Nay, this surely is an admonition: Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! (Surat al-Muddaththir, 54-55)

It is nothing but a Reminder to all the worlds. (With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight. (Surat at-Takwir, 27-28)

This is clear insight for mankind and guidance and mercy for people with certainty.. (Surat al-Jathiyya, 20)

There is instruction in their stories for people of intelligence. This is not a narration which has been invented but confirmation of all that came before, a clarification of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for people who believe. (Surah Yusuf, 111)

It is certainly a reminder to you and to your people and you will be questioned. Ask those We sent before you as Our Messengers: Have We ever designated any gods to be worshipped besides the All-Merciful? (Surat az-Zukhruf, 43-44)

It is a Book We have sent down to you, full of blessing, so let people of intelligence ponder its Signs and take heed. (Surah Sad, 29)

If you do not bring them a Sign, they say, ‘Why have you not come up with one?’ Say, ‘I follow only what has been revealed to me from my Lord.’ This is clear insight from your Lord, and guidance and mercy, for people who believe. (Surat al-A’raf, 203)

We have only sent down the Book to you so that you can make clear to them the things about which they differ, and as a guidance and a mercy to people who believe. (Surat an-Nahl, 64)

This Qur’an guides to the most upright Way and gives good news to the believers who do right actions that they will have a large reward. (Surat al-Isra', 9)

Even if there was a Qur’an which moved mountains, or split the earth open or spoke to the dead...! On the contrary! The affair is Allah’s altogether. Do those who believe not know that if Allah had wanted to He could have guided all mankind? Those who disbelieve will not cease to be struck by disaster for what they have done–or a disaster will happen close to their homes–until Allah’s promise is fulfilled. Allah will not fail to keep His promise. (Surat ar-Ra’d, 31)

THE QUR’AN IS A WARNING AND A REMINDER

We know best what they say. You are not a dictator over them. So remind, with the Qur'an, whoever fears My Threat. (Surat al-Qaf, 45)

We have made the Qur’an easy to remember. But is there any rememberer there? (Surat al-Qamar, 17)

ALLAH HAS GIVEN ALL KINDS OF EXAMPLES IN THE QUR’AN

There is no creature crawling on the earth or flying creature, flying on its wings, who are not communities just like yourselves–We have not omitted anything from the Book–then they will be gathered to their Lord. (Surat al-A’nam, 38)

We have variegated throughout this Qur’an all kinds of examples for people, but, more than anything else, man is argumentative! (Surat al-Kahf, 54)

We have made all kinds of examples for people in this Qur’an. If you bring them a Sign those who disbelieve will say, ‘You are just purveyors of falsehood!’ (Surat ar-Rum, 58)

They bring you no similitude but We bring you the truth and the best of explanations (as against it). (Surat al-Furqan, 33)

We have given all kinds of examples to people in this Qur'an, so that hopefully they will pay heed. (Surat az-Zumar, 27)

We have made things clear in this Qur’an so that they might pay heed, but it only makes them run away the more! (Surat al-Isra', 41)

Those who do not know say, ‘If only Allah would speak to us, or some sign come to us!’ just like those before them who said the same as they say. Their hearts are much the same. We have made the Signs clear for people who have certainty. (Surat al-Baqara, 118)

Alif Lam Ra. A Book whose verses are perfectly constructed, and then demarcated, coming directly from One who is All-Wise, All-Aware.... (Surah Hud, 1)

There is instruction in their stories for people of intelligence. This is not a narration which has been invented but confirmation of all that came before, a clarification of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for people who believe. (Surah Yusuf, 111)

THE QUR’AN IS UNDER THE PROTECTION OF ALLAH, IT CAN’T BE CHANGED

The Words of your Lord are perfect in truthfulness and justice. No one can change His Words. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (Enam Suresi, 115)

When Our Clear Signs are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say, ‘Bring a Qur’an other than this one or change it.’ Say: ‘It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I follow nothing except what is revealed to me. I fear, were I to disobey my Lord, the punishment of a Dreadful Day.’ (Surah Yunus, 15)

This Qur’an could never have been devised by any besides Allah. Rather it is confirmation of what came before it and an elucidation of the Book which contains no doubt from the Lord of all the worlds. (Surah Yunus, 37)

Recite what has been revealed to you of your Lord’s Book. No one can change His Words. You will never find any safe haven apart from Him. (Surat al-Kahf, 27)

ALLAH HAS SENT DOWN THE QUR’AN TO WARN PEOPLE

Warn by it (the Qur'an) those who fear they will be gathered to their Lord, having no protector or intercessor apart from Him, so that hopefully they will guard against evil. (Surat al-An’am, 51)

Say: ‘What thing is greatest as a witness?’ Say: ‘Allah. He is Witness between me and you. This Qur’an has been revealed to me so that I may warn you by it, and anyone else it reaches... (Surat al-An’am, 19)

This is a communication to be transmitted to mankind so that they may be warned by it and so that they will know that He is One God and so that people of intelligence will pay heed. (Surah Ibrahim, 52)

THE SITUATION OF PEOPLE WHO DON’T BELIEVE IN THE QUR’AN

We have given you the Seven Oft-repeated and the Magnificent Qur’an. Do not direct your eyes longingly to what We have given certain of them to enjoy. Do not feel sad concerning them. And take the believers under your wing. Say: ‘I am indeed a clear Warner.’ Just as We sent down punishment on the dissectors, those who divide the Qur’an into little pieces (Surat al-Hijr, 87-91)

The Messenger says, ‘My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored.’ (Surat al-Furqan, 30)

You will see every nation on its knees, every nation summoned to its Book: ‘Today you will be repaid for what you did.’ (Surat al-Jathiyya, 28)

Will they not then ponder the Qur’an or are there locks upon their hearts? (Surah Muhammad, 24)

AERODYNAMIC FORCES AND THE FLIGHT PROGRAMMED IN BIRDS

Do they not see the birds suspended in mid-air up in the sky? Nothing holds them there except Allah. There are certainly signs in that for people who believe. (Surat an-Nahl, 79)

Due to the force of gravity, all bodies left in the air will eventually fall to earth, either fast or slowly. Everything, living or otherwise, is subject to gravity. But as a miracle of Allah (God) birds are able to resist this force and fly upward and downward in the air. They maneuver in the air, and sometimes even fold their wings and glide through it. All details in birds, from their feathers to their lungs, from the arrangement of their feathers to the shape of their wings, are equipped with a special feature and order intended to enable them to fly. A chick totally unaware of the act of flight and the laws of aerodynamics is born with the ability to fly. The chick launches itself downwards and begins to fly, just as if it knew its body was created for flight. This is not information that is taught subsequently or that a bird learns by trial and error. The way a bird knows it has the body structure needed to fly, finds the courage to launch itself into the air and then flies without hitting the ground all happens through Allah’s inspiration.

The Arabic word “yumsikuhunna” translated as “holds” in verse 79 of Surat an-Nahl means “not letting them go, taking them, catching them, or holding them.” The word is the present tense of the verse “amsaka,” meaning “to catch with the hand, hold and pull back.” With this word, our Almighty Lord reveals that He holds the bird in the air and that it flies by His command. Bird flight is still the subject of wide-ranging research by scientists. Having observed the perfection in bird flight, scientists use the avian body and avian flight as direct models in producing such vehicle as airplanes and jets.

Verse 79 of Surat an-Nahl may in one way be indicating the way that birds comply with the aerodynamic laws created by Allah as they fly. (Allah knows the truth.) The science of aerodynamics studies the behavior of solid bodies in a fluid environment such as air. For example, as a plane moves through the air, various forces emerge that affect that movement. In order for the plane to move as planned and not to run into any unexpected forces or resistance, the plane is tested beforehand against the resistance exhibited by the air. Its movement is planned as a result of lengthy calculations, measurements and experiments.

The way that birds comply with the principles of aerodynamics continues to astonish scientists. Using no form of trial and error, they cope with the laws of aerodynamics in the most perfect manner. The use of the word " musakhkharatin" (suspended) in the verse to describe bird flight is exceedingly wise. Because it suggests that they have been “encouraged to a specific end, have had to do something, have submitted or bowed their heads, have bound themselves to Allah or have submitted to His laws”. In that way, the verse may be indicating the way that aerodynamic laws have a determining influence on bird flight. (Allah knows the truth.)

At first sight there would appear to be nothing to make it difficult for birds to fly. But according to aerodynamics, any object flying in the air is subject to various different forces. The best-known of these are gravity, propulsion, drag and lift. In order for meaningful flight to take place, these forces have to be balanced. For example, if gravity is stronger than the other forces, the bird will fall to earth. That is why the word in the verse is the best possible expression of birds’ condition as they are subjected to these forces. The presence in the Qur’an of expressions containing such information at a time when no science of aerodynamics or mechanics existed, once again reveals that the Qur’an is a divine text.

1
The illustration shows the main forces acting on a bird during flight.
Lift
Drag
Weight
Propulsion

The tops of birds’ wings are curved, the bottoms flat. This shape produces lower pressure on the top compared to the bottom. This difference in air pressure produces a lift force that enables the bird to rise in the air by beating its wings upward. (right)
            (1) The air moving rapidly around the bird’s wings produces the lift force. (2) The bird bends its wings in order to obtain greater lift force. The air flowing over the wings is thus accelerated. (3) If it inclines its wings upward at a very steep angle, air cannot easily flow to the upper parts of the wings and the bird loses speed and stalls. Through Allah’s inspiration, birds make use of the principles of aerodynamics as they fly. 2

In addition to the aerodynamic perfection in bird flight, scientists are also researching the migrations of thousands of kilometers that they make. Ornithologists have today concluded that these are literally programmed in them. The way that young birds are able to undertake long and arduous journeys with no guide or previous experience is the most obvious example of this. The Arabic word “musakhkharatin" in the verse quoted above implies “being encouraged toward a specific target, being taken under command, being taken under submission,” clearly revealing that birds obey the instructions they are given when following the directions set out for them. There is no possibility of birds, which are devoid of intellect and consciousness, managing to make their own calculations as they fly along. Scientists today are agreed that these extraordinary abilities in birds are “pre-programmed” in them. This is set out in an article in the journal Science:

There is good evidence that young birds are equipped with endogenous migratory programs, which tell them roughly how many days and/or nights that they must fly, and in what direction.3

In his book La Puissance et la Fragilité, Prof. Pierre Jean Hamburger from René Descartes University describes the extraordinary 24,000-kilometer journey made by the shearwater that lives in the Pacific Ocean:

It sets out from the coast of Australia. From there it flies straight southward to the Pacific. Then it turns north and flies along the coast of Japan until reaching the Bering Sea where it can rest for a while. Following that break it sets off again, and this time heads south. Crossing the western coast of America, it arrives in California. It then crosses the Pacific to return to its starting point. The route and timing of this 15,000-mile (24,000-kilometer) figure ‘8’ journey it makes every year never change. The journey in question lasts a whole six months, always coming to an end in the third week of September on the island it left six months before, at the nest it left six months before. What comes next is even more astonishing; after their return, the birds clean their nests, mate, and lay a single egg over the last 10 days of October. The chicks hatch out two months later, grow very fast and are cared for over three months until their parents set out on that stupendous journey. Two weeks later; around the middle of April, it is time for the young birds to take wing on their own journey. They follow exactly the same route as that described above, with no guide. The explanation is so obvious: These birds must have all the directions for such a journey within the inherited characteristics passed on within the egg. Some people may claim that birds navigate by the Sun and stars or follow the winds prevailing along their route on this journey out and back. But it is clear that these factors cannot determine the journey’s geographical and chronological accuracy.4

Prof. Peter Berthold is a famous ornithologist who has investigated bird migration for 20 years and president of the Max Planck Institute Ornithological Research Center in Germany. He says the following about bird migration:

Every year an estimated 50 billion birds make migratory journeys, cealong a network of routes that encompasses the whole world. Sometimes travelling tens of thousands of kilometers, crossing continents and oceans, migratory birds have become so well adapted to this task that they can traverse the largest deserts and seas, the highest mountains and expanses of ice... migratory birds have comprehensive, detailed, innate spatio-temporal programs for successful migration. Such programs evidently enable even young, inexperienced birds to migrate alone, with no adult guide, to the species- or population-specific winter quarters that they have never seen before. As will be explained further below, they do this by "vector" navigation: referring to a vector composed of a genetically predetermined migratory direction and to a time-plan, also genetically predetermined, for the course of migration... It follows that the departure time is programmed by genetic factors... But how do birds "know" the direction in which to migrate, so that they will reach their specific winter quarters? Here, again data have been obtained that point to direct genetic control mechanisms. It has long been suspected that migration directions are innate... when displaced from the normal starting point, and still more crucially, when tested in orientation cages, migratory birds showed directional preferences practically identical to the normal ones, even if they had never migrated before. Now a number of experiments have provided evidence of the genetic determination of migration direction... Even these directional changes are evidently programmed endogenously to a great extent... With an innate pattern of migratory activity, the birds possess a genetically determined migration schedule. In combination with genetically determined migratory directions, as mentioned above, it guides even inexperienced individuals, migrating for the first time, "automatically" to their previously unknown winter quarters (vector navigation, using a vector composed of a time- and a direction-plan).5

In conclusion, although scientists are unable to fully account for it, scientists still agree that migration is pre-programmed behavior that birds possess from birth. Journeys lasting thousands of kilometers, the preparations made for these flights and bird’s ability to find their way and navigate during flight all take place by our Lord’s choosing, as expressed in the above verse. The accuracy of all the information provided in the Qur’an is important evidence that this information has all been revealed by Allah.

FOSSILIZATION AND IRON CONTENT

"They say, ‘What! When we are bones and crumbled dust, will we then be raised up as a new creation!’ Say: ‘It would not matter if you were rock or iron or indeed any created thing that you think is harder still!’ They will say, ‘Who will bring us back again?’ Say: ‘He Who brought you into being in the first place’..." (Surat al-Isra’, 49-51)

The above verses are a reference to people’s dead bodies petrifying and turning into iron. Living tissue is not preserved over millions of years. That is why it is only possible to see things that lived a long time in the past once they have been fossilized. After they die, living things can be preserved for years by fossilization, by their bodies turning into stone under the ground. The word “fossil” refersto “the preservation of a living thing by petrification,” by its turning into stone.

Iron is preserved undamaged in the body as it fossilized. Human beings need to consume an average of 10-15 milligrams a day in order to be healthy. Any excess iron consumed is stored in the liver. In addition, the protein transferrin in blood plasma also carries a certain amount of iron.i The reference in the above verse to the presence of iron in the remains of the human body is exceedingly wise from that point of view.

Research has also shown the presence of “pyrite,” (FeS2) a compound of iron and sulfur, in fossils.ii The iron mineral pyrite forms very easily during the degradation of organic substances. It is therefore generally found in fossil shells and is capable of damaging the fossils since it can react with oxygen and water. The words “crumbled dust” in the verse may be a reference to “pyrite degradation,” which leads to the fragmentation and collapse of a fossil as pyrite reacts with water and oxygen.iii Allah knows the truth.

Another fact confirmed by recent findings is that matter constantly seeks the most stable state. Therefore, given sufficient time, all matter will eventually turn into iron. Iron is the most stable state of nuclear matter, and cosmological models predict a stage in which everything will turn into iron as a result of nuclear fusion and nuclear fission reactions.iv In his book In Search of Schrodinger's Cat: Quantum Physics And Reality, the astrophysicist John Gribbon describes how iron is the most desirable state of matter and how all matter in the universe wants to turn into iron.v

The revelation in the Qur’an that human beings petrify and fossilize and turn into iron is a fact that has now been scientifically confirmed. In the same way that no archaeological, paleontological, geological or astronomical research was possible at the time the Qur’an was revealed, neither was it possible to identify the elements using an electron miscroscope. For that point of view, the facts revealed in the above verse once more confirm that the Qur’an is a divine text.

THE WISDOM BEHIND THE PROHIBITION OF BLOOD IN THE QUR'AN

He has only forbidden you carrion, blood and pork and what has been consecrated to other than Allah. But anyone who is forced to eat it – without desiring it or going to excess in it – commits no crime. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat al-Baqara, 173)

The wisdom behind Allah’s prohibition of blood emerged during the 20th century. By carrying vitamins, hormones, oxygen and substances such as protein, sugar and fat absorbed during digestion to the cells, blood makes it possible for life to survive. On the other hand, it also carries various toxins and waste products that need to be expelled from the body. One of the most important tasks performed by blood is to transport substances such as urea, uric acid, keratin and carbon dioxide that need to be removed from the body.

Therefore, in the event that significant quantities of blood are consumed, the level of products in the body that should be expelled will rise considerably. That will increase the levels of urea, harmful substances transported to the kidneys for expulsion from the body. This can impair brain functions and even result in coma. That is why, because of its very nature, there will always be harmful compounds in blood, even if taken from healthy animals. If it is taken from a sick animal, various parasites and germs will also be transmitted in it. In that event, the germs may multiply and spread throughout the body. And that is the real danger. If someone consumes blood, all the germs and waste products in it may spread through the body and lead to such diseases as kidney insufficiency or liver coma. In addition, most of the microbes carried in the blood may cause other diseases by damaging the lining of the stomach and the intestines.

What is more, blood is not a sterile environment; to put it another way, it is ideal for germs to grow in. i Since microbes have excellent opportunities to feed in blood, it represents an ideal environment for them. When in equilibrium with the functions of the other fluids in the body and the immune system, blood does not support micro-organisms, and therefore disease. In a healthy individual, these micro-organisms live by making use of one another inside the body. When that environment is seriously impaired, when the internal equilibrium is damaged, in other words, they may turn into micro-organisms that cause disease when they find the appropriate surroundings.

For example, when the blood pH level (acid and alkali balance) is imbalanced because of poor nutrition or harmful chemicals, harmless microbes can change into ones that cause disease. If the body is to be healthy, the pH level of the blood should be around 7.3. Even small variations in that level may cause that balance to be impaired and cause micro-organisms to become more harmful in order to adapt to their surroundings. Blood being sterile may be compared to milk going off when left outside. Microbes already present in the blood exhibit harmful effects by adapting to their new environment. ii

In addition to all this, blood is not suitable for use as a food product. The level of digestible proteins such as albumin, globulin and fibrinogen is low; just 8 grams in 100 ml. of blood. The same applies to fats. In addition, blood contains a high level of hemoglobin, a complex protein that is very difficult to digest and is unacceptable to the stomach. When blood clots, the protein fibrinogen gives rise to a plate containing erythrocytes (red blood corpuscles) by turning into fibrin. Fibrin is one of the hardest proteins to digest, thus making blood even more difficult to digest. In conclusion, health experts agree that blood is unfit for human consumption in any form.

After saying: “Unlawful for you are carrion, blood and pork, and what has been consecrated to other than Allah, and animals which have been strangled, and animals which have been killed by a blow, and animals which have fallen to their death, and animals which have been gored, and animals which wild beasts have eaten – except those you are able to slaughter properly – and animals which have been sacrificed on altars, and deciding things by means of divining arrows – that is deviance….” Almighty Allah goes on to say…” But if anyone is forced by hunger, not intending any wrongdoing, Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful” (meaning that an exception can be made.) (Surat al-Ma’ida, 3) People of the time were unaware of the wisdom behind it, but were protected by abiding by Allah’s prohibition. Those who believe and trust in Allah and comply with His commandments and prohibitions will enjoy auspicious lives in terms of the Hereafter and also live under Allah’s protection and infinite mercy.
